It is very sturdy and has light and music action to keep baby entertained and happy. The legs of the gym are made of a durable and solid plastic covered in fabric. This gives a sturdy base to the gym, and holds the light/music/mobile component safely. Another reviewer had mentioned that the gym tipped easily. That made me hesitant to purchase, but once we got this set up, I didn't find it to be unstable at all. It would be very difficult to tip and seems very secure. The attachable toys are sturdy and engaging as well. My baby is only two months old right now, but he already loves this toy! He loves the lights, and even reaches out to hit the dangling toys.
