I bought this hoping it would soften my new split adjustable bed. My husband loves the bed, but it’s way too firm for me. While this doesn’t cool as I would like, I tend to be super hot so it’s probably fine for most people. The price is good, the quality nicer than expected, and it fits perfectly. It does add about an extra almost inch compared to my husband’s side, and I can tell it’s softer than without anything. Stays in place well. I’ll still probably buy a topper to make my side extra soft, but will keep this as well. It doesn’t move around and sheets fit better with it in place.

My son and I just got back from the CMP National Match at Camp Perry. This year we stayed in base housing and had been warned that the foam mattresses left a lot to be desired. I got a couple of these mattress pads and we were both glad we had them. The very firm foam mattresses were still very firm but this mattress pad put a soft layer between me and the vinyl-clad military mattress. I slept very well. The sheets stayed put. My son was so impressed that he's taking his back to college this fall. This easily fit on the "Twin XL" mattresses provided. They do arrive rolled and compressed. Once they decompress, they take on the quilted appearance. I washed them before and after the trip and they've held up well. If anything, the first trip through the washer and dryer helped puff it up even more. This is NOT memory foam and it will not add anything appreciable to mattress thickness. This just adds a pillowy layer between your bottom sheet and the top of the mattress. If you've ever slept on an institutional vinyl-clad foam mattress, you'll appreciate why that's important. I can't recommend it enough.

I have a Tempurpedic Cool Breeze (it's not) and am not overly fond of the bed. I actually find the mattress uncomfortable and so hot that I flopped around like a dead fish all night searching for the cool spot. Luckily, I sleep alone. The original mattress pad that came with the bed was so thin, I could feel the lines of the mattress through it. Recently, I had a friend that bought a Chilipad, and after listening to her wax poetic about the difference in her sleep, I borrowed it one night and marveled at how much better I slept. I was going to get one, but the sticker shock stopped me. I then started researching better, cooling mattress pads as an intermediary step, and came across this one and decided that given the price, this was worth trying. I will say that the softness and fluff has made me hate my bed less. I can no longer feel the lines of my mattress, and while this is cushy, it doesn't add a squishiness to the bed that makes my body hurt more - if anything, it improves the feel of the Tempurpedic. Where I don't give it the fifth star is that I wouldn't call it cooling. It is cooler than when I didn't have it, but I still get hot (it just takes longer) and move to seek a cooler spot. The difference with this over without is that any untouched spot is definitely cool, and so rolling to a new spot is immediate relief and I'm flopping a lot less. So this is an amazing happy medium for me until the Chilipad comes down in price or my bank account increases in balance!

Excellent, soft, supportive

This is a really comfy topper but it's a little too thin for my liking

After washing the product, I was a bit skeptical on how much softer it would make my bed. It didn't seem like much of a difference to what pulled out of the vacuum sealed. But nonetheless, I put it on my bed anyways, put my bed sheet over it, the laid down to go to bed. My bed is a brand new firm twin bed that I got from my dad. I had no say in the firmness of it at all It's springy, but still hard on my body. But when I laid down on it with this mattress cover on it...it was like a completely different mattress. It turned my hard firmness bed into a medium firmness. It was so comfortable, and I actually fell asleep a lot quicker than I normally do. And this morning? I didn't even want to get out of bed. I absolutely would recommend this bed cover to anyone who is not happy with their bed being rock hard and don't want to replace. And with such a low price, how can you beat it?

Bellissimo ,lo consiglio

I'd recently been using a thick foam topper and tried this one to see if it was cooler; it wasn't. This product is not bad, it is cool when you first lay down and doesn't retain too much heat so it is bearable; but compared to my old foam topper, I think the air bubbles in my previous foam topper did a better job at heat dispersion.

Not particularly cooling but very, very comfortable. Adds a perfect extra layer and I am about to purchase another one for my guest room.

Got it for cooling purposes and finding I’m not waking up sweating. The little pillow does make my bed a little softer.
