Worth every penny.
So far we love these!! My husband bought me the 3 skillets and I loved them so much I bought this. We do not put these in the dishwasher, and I’ve never used them on anything higher than medium high heat. They don’t need it! I seared a steak and was impressed. I normally use cast iron and this did well. I’ve not had a single issue with anything sticking to them. They conduct heat very well so cook time is on point. They’re super easy to clean by hand and worth every penny. Definitely a great value. Yes, they’re expensive. So were my All Clads! You get what you pay for. They work amazingly well and I LOVE the design. I have a full set of All Clads stainless steel, and my cast iron Griswold that is over a 100 years old. My mother gave me her full set of very expensive copper (from France) cookware and I have Le Crueset Dutch ovens of a few sizes. Since I got these, they’ve become my go to. They’re sturdy but light and easy to clean so why wouldn’t I?!!

Best decision you’ll ever make
I deliberately waited before writing this review. I wanted to be certain I wasn’t simply being a fanboy because Gordon Ramsay endorses the brand. I needed my own, honest opinion—and here it is. I have a background in culinary arts and have lived a hard life in professional kitchens. For years, my wife selected our cookware, then understandably complained that I was destroying it. She wasn’t wrong. For over two decades, I cooked on Pampered Chef Pro cookware and hated every minute of it. I even had an entire set replaced under warranty—only to destroy the replacement as well. We were trapped, having spent thousands of dollars on cookware that simply couldn’t handle real cooking. When I first read reviews of the original generation of HexClad, I hesitated. I had no interest in being burned again—especially by cookware potentially made with questionable chemicals. So I paused. When I learned HexClad had redesigned and improved their products, I decided to give them a serious look. Cooking with these pans instantly transported me back to my line cook days—when you know, without question, that you’re holding true professional-grade equipment. Using them honestly feels like a Jedi wielding a lightsaber. The pans have a solid, medium-heavy weight that inspires confidence, comparable to cast iron in strength, yet without the downsides. They deliver a flawless sear without devouring your food. Heat control is exceptional—steady at high temperatures and responsive at low. Most importantly, they cook evenly, which is a complete game changer when your family is accustomed to fine-dining quality meals at home. There are no more excuses about inferior cookware in this kitchen. Bottom line: these pans are not cheap—but they are absolutely worth the money. The quality lives up to the hype. If you’re on the fence, stop shopping. Don’t buy anything else. This is it.

Really non-stick pan!
We have been skeptical about this hexclad non-stick wok/pan. My sister has one but not sure where she bought it from or it is an imitated product, it sticks to almost everything it cooks and is very difficult to clean. My sister-in-law bought a whole set and she said it works well and doesn't stick at all. We finally decided to buy a wok pan to try it out. We tested it by frying eggs, cod fish filet, pan fried noodles, etc., and finally we are convinced that none of the food sticks to the hexclad wok/pan. A detail look at the hexclad design revealed the secrete of their non-stick technology. The manufacturing process has to be precise and perfect to make the slightly higher studs forming the hexagons and stars by reducing the contact surface with the food being cooked and leave room for the oil to stay and fry the food from the bottom. It is ingenuous!

HexClad Is In My Future!
My first HexClad purchase and won’t be my last! I purchased this 11-inch wok in a set (created by Amazon) together with the 11-inch pan. They share a single lid that fits both of them. I never imagined life could be so easy to cook and then clean until I bought these 2 pans. I’m literally in seventh heaven. My food has never cooked better and my clean-up has never been this easy. Not to mention the appearance of these pans after clean-up. They look as good as new. The quality and durability speaks for itself. When I think of the number of pans I’ve purchased over the years that went bad so soon, I recognize just how good a value for my money these HexClad are. I’ll be buying additional pieces slowly, and that’s fine with me. One last thing, this pan isn’t a wok in the traditional sense. It’s just a deeper pan. And it works perfectly as such. I’ve cooked fried rice, lo mein, and other dishes that require a pan that has more depth. This pan is perfect for that. I think the larger 14 inch size would be a bit too big for me as I’m a petite woman. I find this size perfect for cooking meals for up to 4 people. But I would consider the larger size if I had to cook for more.

Bought in January for $180US about ready for garbage in August.
The seller of this product put a video out on youtube to show you how to make sure it doesn't stick. It was an absurd amount of extra work to get what they believe it the perfect sear with no-stick. It was more work than if I just used a stainless steel pad or wok from start to clean. I suppose if you've cooked as much as Gordon Ramsay has, there is no problem? If you cannot find this video of him "seasoning" (not like carbon steel one-and-done seasoning) by pre-oiling it, heating the oil, discarding the oil, lower the heat and adding new oil, it was probably taken down because it's an absurd process and more work compared to other surfaces even stainless steel. Stuff doesn't only stick but it gets jammed on the side of the raised steel hex. Harder to clean than any pan because you have to clean it very carefully to avoid wearing out the non-stick part. Or fit it in the dishwasher. I've owned it since January and right away I realized it just wasn't good for certain types of food. It is now August and I think it is almost ready to throw into the garbage. Now I see on reviews here that HexClad was sued and settled or lost. I paid $180 back in January and it is the worst value pan I've ever purchased. Get a carbon steel wok that has been pre-seasoned.

Cooks like it is advertised
This pan is brand new and I have only used it once but I followed the instructions on how to use it and cook on low to medium heat and it worked as advertised and clean up was great so far I love this product.

Expensive than generic Chinese brands but good quality
It has been 3 years. We cook often in large batches and this gets used every week. I have found that even though HexClad is more expensive due to celebrity advertisement and it had lost a recent class action lawsuit (I was given whole $3 back 🤣), this wok is very durable. It is not a good nonstick. Food will stick at the bottom. I had to use steel wire to clean up the burns several times. Didn't damage the wok. Slightly worn at the inside bottom. One major flaw with the wok is it's outside being same surface as inside. It increases their manufacturing cost and creates more problems cleaning up than a smooth outside. Really dumb design.

Choosing the 12" over the 10"
I chose the 12" wok with trepidation, given the comments about its weight. I made the right choice. The wok is deep and sufficiently large that I can cook one pot meals in quantity with plenty of room for leafy greens and a volume of food to last 2-3 days. Compared to the 10" cast iron skillet that I was using, this is lightweight! The extra handle is quite helpful and the wok design is very efficient. It has been perfectly non-stick so far. Overall, it was a very good investment. I can now retire 2, flaking old skillets.

Could be better
After few months of use the coating started getting off slowly but Amazon is just best that it allowed me to return it back

Long lasting and works well
It’s amazing, I use it to fry almost anything (eggs, curries, fries, tofu, plantain). It’s easy to clean. Expensive but worth the price, I’ve used it for a year and it still looks like new
