Ours faded to white almost immediately. We use them a lot though. I would not recommend these. **Q: Is the orange four different shades as pictured?** A: Hi, thanks your question. Yes, you can get 4 different shades of gels. There are four different color temperature of orange filter gels: 85 (CTO), 85A (1/2 CTO), 85B (1/4 CTO), 85C (1/8 CTO). **Q: I need 4 sheets of the lightest color temperature here. I do not need any of the darker orange. Using glue to adhere the gel film would be very visible and degrade the appearance. A way around it would be to use the kind of black tape that is sold in art material stores. It comes in thin widths. The tape could substitute for the lead channels that are used in traditional stained glass to hold the pieces together.
