This was a perfect fit on my existing outdoor GFI outlet. When I bought the house, all of the outdoor outlets had covers on them, but when you plugged something into an outlet, the cover would just sort of hang open over the plug and not protect the plugged-in connection nor the other outlet which was then exposed. So, I ordered this to cover an outlet that I recently plugged a Nest Outdoor Camera into. It is perfect! My outlet has a horizontal orientation so the fact that I was able to open it sideways and open a single slot at the bottom (whether it is positioned vertically or horizontally) was the main reason I ordered this. As you can see in the photos, it is perfect for my needs. Installation was easy and it came with screws and even a padded backing to ensure a tight seal against the outlet/house/siding. Great product, great price!

Highly versatile and ideal for virtually any outdoor outlet setup. I struggled to find a reasonably priced outdoor outlet cover that met all my requirements—single-gang, compatible with lateral (or vertical) installation, and most importantly, designed for true in-use protection. The removable and replaceable tabs are a standout feature, ensuring the outlet remains watertight even when not in use. The cover also includes screw holes in every location you could possibly need, making installation easy. If there’s one minor drawback, it’s that the instructions are somewhat vague. However, given the number of possible configurations and installation options, fully detailed instructions would likely be a small novel. Anyone with basic electrical installation experience should have no trouble figuring it out, as the product is thoughtfully and effectively designed. Best used with Leviton Decora, Outdoor Use, Weather Resistant Outlets, they fit inside the gasket best!

Used this cover for an outside GFI receptacle on a solar powered shed. Very professional looking and working great have had no issues. Would imagine it would be great for any residential 120V exterior receptacle project you may have. With several installation options.

The cover works well and is well made. Installation was about 2 minutes or less. The only downside is there are 4 ports for electrical cords to enter, 2 on the side and 2 on the long side, which is great. However, there are only 2 clear plugs, which mean the there are 2 open ports exposed. Not a problem if you have 2 cords always plugged in. In my case, I only have 1, which means that 1 port is open to the elements, which for me will mean a home for wasps in the spring. 5 stars if it would have come with plugs for all of the holes.

This outlet cover is easy to install and is sturdy and well made. I installed it under my sink for my Reverse Osmosis water filtration system that has an electrical pump to move the water. This came in really handy because my other option was to drill a 2" hole in my counter to run the electrical cord through and plug it in above the sink.

great product, very easy to install and looks great

These are pretty decent for being plastic. They have cutouts at the bottom for two cords and room inside for an average plug end and cord and still be latched. I do wish they had a catch of some sort to keep them open but that's not a reason to not buy them. They seal to the wall well with supplied foam adhesive gaskets and look pretty nice.

Tuve la oportunidad de usar cajas de otras marcas al mismo tiempo que esta, y me hizo darme cuenta que la caja de esta marca es de mejor calidad. Esta se siente mejor al tacto, también está mejor construida y viene empacada mejor. Las otras cajas que compré son más ligeras y el plástico es mas corriente. Por esa razón, ahora que necesito cajas otra vez esta es la única marca que me parece aceptable. La primera vez compré las cajas en marzo y estando al aire libre ocho meses después siguen como nuevas, incluso el plástico transparente sigue teniendo ese brillito de nuevo Mi única queja real es que tienen un montón de vendedores en Amazon diferentes, entonces el precio fluctúa muchísimo de semana a semana: a veces está a $300, a veces a $280, otras veces a $900, otro día a $600 y es como wtf. Yo pagué $400 y tanto por dos cajas. Ahora que una sola está en casi casi $400 ya la pienso. Arreglen los precios.

They are a bit bigger than I thought they would be but they look very “utility” professional. Keep water out and you can see what’s plugged in . Templates on all the parts have lots of choices for screw holes so it takes a bit of finagling to find the right ones but easy and not a big deal…. Easy to install. And you end up with a bunch of extra screws for that “abyss” container at the end of the workbench!!!! Good choice.
