This was a perfect fit on my existing outdoor GFI outlet. When I bought the house, all of the outdoor outlets had covers on them, but when you plugged something into an outlet, the cover would just sort of hang open over the plug and not protect the plugged-in connection nor the other outlet which was then exposed. So, I ordered this to cover an outlet that I recently plugged a Nest Outdoor Camera into. It is perfect! My outlet has a horizontal orientation so the fact that I was able to open it sideways and open a single slot at the bottom (whether it is positioned vertically or horizontally) was the main reason I ordered this. As you can see in the photos, it is perfect for my needs. Installation was easy and it came with screws and even a padded backing to ensure a tight seal against the outlet/house/siding. Great product, great price!

Highly versatile and ideal for virtually any outdoor outlet setup. I struggled to find a reasonably priced outdoor outlet cover that met all my requirements—single-gang, compatible with lateral (or vertical) installation, and most importantly, designed for true in-use protection. The removable and replaceable tabs are a standout feature, ensuring the outlet remains watertight even when not in use. The cover also includes screw holes in every location you could possibly need, making installation easy. If there’s one minor drawback, it’s that the instructions are somewhat vague. However, given the number of possible configurations and installation options, fully detailed instructions would likely be a small novel. Anyone with basic electrical installation experience should have no trouble figuring it out, as the product is thoughtfully and effectively designed. Best used with Leviton Decora, Outdoor Use, Weather Resistant Outlets, they fit inside the gasket best!

This outlet cover is easy to install and is sturdy and well made. I installed it under my sink for my Reverse Osmosis water filtration system that has an electrical pump to move the water. This came in really handy because my other option was to drill a 2" hole in my counter to run the electrical cord through and plug it in above the sink.

For my application, this sideways opening enclosure works great for me - better than the up/down enclosures. It seals well. You decide which cord openings you'll use then break them out. I used a needle nose pliers to keep flexing the hard plastic until it broke out. But the plugs that I was using have thick cords that don't flex very well. I expect that to be the case for most outdoor cords. The cord openings weren't long enough to bend the cords enough to let the cover close. I used my Dremel drill with a narrow sanding bit to extend the openings almost to the end of the cover. I'm fine with this as the openings are on the bottom and I don't expect much rain to enter. Since this cover is for outdoor applications where thick cords will most likely be used, I suggest that the manufacturer extend the break-out openings to accommodate these thicker cords.

great product, very easy to install and looks great

Good cover, easy installation, has everything you need in the box. Good price. Seems durable, time will tell as so far i've had it for 6 months. Includes a foam gasket to seal against water on the back side. Cover itself looks clean and modern, blends in well.

This is perfect my old one was yellow and broke it was discolored and this was very easy to put on

Ya tiene tiempo que hice la compra y este producto está a la intemperie como nuevo

Excelente caja estanca para colocar en el exterior. La ocupe para colocar contactos eléctricos en el jardín y ha funcionado muy bien. En general tiene buena durabilidad, la tapa transparente se ha amarillado un poco, aunque supongo que es normal porque está a la intemperie.

Protege mis conexiones de la lluvia en el exterior, me gustó que tiene espacio suficiente para que es cable no se dañe al doblar

They are a bit bigger than I thought they would be but they look very “utility” professional. Keep water out and you can see what’s plugged in . Templates on all the parts have lots of choices for screw holes so it takes a bit of finagling to find the right ones but easy and not a big deal…. Easy to install. And you end up with a bunch of extra screws for that “abyss” container at the end of the workbench!!!! Good choice.
