Generic Replacement Part Hayward Goldline, Aquarite Bypass Pipe, GLX-CELL-PIPE

I ordered this item as a temporary replacement for a defective t-15 salt cell. The process of performing an RMA on the failed cell looked to take approx 2wks which is too long to be without filtration on a pool in Az (temps are still over 100).This item perfectly replaces the cell and allows me to use my filters while awaiting the replacement. No leaks, issues with threads, etc. Just screw it in and turn on the pump!

I like it worked perfect. Just closed my pool for the Winter and took out salt sell and cleaned to store till next summer. I was disappointed that it had no O rings but when you look closely at your female connectors you will see that they have them. So I got over that very fast. I guess I could have bought some Pvc and Unions from Homedepot but then I would have to cut and glue and hope I made it the correct size. But I am lazy well worth the money so save your sell life and buy this one and remeber keep up your clorine tabs when your water get 60 or below

Great fit and easy to install...I would recommend this for anyone wanting a winter/dummy cell.

We had a salt system that went out and a new cell is $900+. Nope. I left the cell inline for years, but it started leaking so I needed to remove it and this was the solution. Not much to it, but if you have a Hayward salt cell, this will bridge the gap when you remove it. No tools needed.

Cheaper than the store yet same quality

When closing/opening pool, makes it much easier to put this in place of the salt cell for winterizing and flushing so you don't put unwanted use on your cell.

The reason for four stars is because the description implies that it is a Hayward-branded product. It isn't, but it works just as described and is much cheaper than the Hayward product.

I’ve got extra 2” PVC pipe and was going to buy fittings from Home Depot to make my own, but this part costs about the same and doesn’t require any measuring and assembly.
