Used for a sound-deadening project. Sealed the closed cell foam edges after installing on the inside of my fender wheel well liners. Havent had too much adverse weather but so far holding up very well with no issues. I dont expect it will have an issues since its ductwork tape. Very sticky but easy to use and form where needed. Would buy again.

I have been using aluminum foil tape for years in my shop. It's not much in terms of tensile strength, but it sure can seal air and water leaks. Be careful if you're not used to it; if it folds on itself, it really sticks and is not easy to undo without tearing. Actually, it sticks to just about anything. Just some things adhere better to than others. It works well outdoors, well, for me it does. Not cheap, and there is a reason why; it really is good tape.

Careful, it is sharp and it will cut you if you play fast and loose with it. Pro tip - use a razor's edge to get it started, but keep the backing peeled inbetween cuts, otherwise you will go INSANE continuing to re-peel the back over and over again. I put roll on a broomstick that was setting on two chairs (as my DIY dispenser), worked great! Excellent quality, ridiculously good stickiness!

Probably bought 2 dozen and then some of this tape to use with a radiant barrier and other misc stuff. This tape works as expected for foil tape, which given the products price, is a good deal for its quality. The adhesive sticks to metal panels, wood, and Mylar fabric exceeding well. When exposed to the elements (100F plus heat, rain, 50mph winds), the adhesive starts to break down, but i found it’s still good until the wind catches and pulls the tape up. Interestingly, this tape is much thicker (possibly stronger tear ability) than the foil tape i can buy locally.

This product performs great with strong aluminum and tape adhesive especially on metal surfaces. I recommend this product.

this is not the highest density/thickness tape available, it is exactly as advertised. The sealant/adhesive is top quality. This is a product I will buy again and again in my career. Duct seal, vent seal, airflow seal, low pressure exterior application, finished product.

My dryer vents through the floor and the pipe goes under the house out the side wall. It's about 15' from the wall vent to the floor input and at the floor connection sometimes gets loose, making the dryer's pipe disengage from the connection at the floor. I used this tape to reconnect the pipe to the floor connection and get things working as they should. I'm pleased with the adhesion of this tape. It seemed strong enough to do what I needed it to do, and it solved the problem of connecting the two pieces without the need to get someone to go under the house. The only issue I had with this tape was getting the backing off of it. I don't know how you could make this easier, but for me, it was really tough. My daughter has slightly longer nails than I do and she used them to start pieces for me so we worked together to get this done. Maybe there is a trick to it that could be shared, but I don't know it. If you need a tape that is very sticky, with strong adhesion that is also heat resistant, get it. It works as expected.

Good product, will use again and recommend to others. I did mistakenly think this was without a paper backing, it was my mistake so just to be clear this product DOES have a paper backing and so like any product of this type peeling the tape away from the backing can be a challenge...but no more or less than any other product of this type. My use was to seal the seams and edges of Dynamat Hoodliner that I installed on the bottom of the cab of my M-1078 LMTV. The adhesion to both metal and the Hoodliner seem to be good however, since I only installed this in the last week I don't have any idea how it will last over time. Installation temps were around 65*F and we've just had our first snow flurry so I'm interested to see how it holds up over winter. In the picture, you'll see this product along the left edge of the silver hoodliner. This product seems to have better adhesion than the 3M product I also used (I was finishing up the roll) though it might be that the other tape was old. Do be careful as this is metal and can form a sharp edge. I did get a razor like cut in the center of my thumb but as I was wrapping the tape around an edge I can't be sure if it was the tape or the cab of the truck :-/

PACKAGING Spedizione prime superveloce, il giorno successivo all'ordine ho ricevuto il solito pacco Amazon dove all'interno c'era il nastro proprio come si vede qui. CARATTERISTICHE Il nastro è di ottima qualità, lungo 64 metri e l'adesivo dello stesso è protetto da una carta facile da staccare. L'adesivo è molto resistente l'ho usato per sigillare alcuni punti dei tubi di rame per il passaggio dell'acqua calda e le giunture della canna fumaria. Resiste ,secondo la descrizione a 120 ⁰ C ma a detta di alcuni può resistere anche a 300 ⁰ C. Il nastro è anche più spesso rispetto ad altri nastri che si trovano in commercio. PRO • Adesivo resistente • Nastro spesso • Ottima resistenza al calore • Facile da applicare CONTRO Al momento nessuno CONCLUSIONE Se non volete spendere un patrimonio e volete un nastro resistente all'adesione e al calore, ve lo consiglio.

La he usado en exteriores, concretamente para forrar y sellar los conductos del aire acondicionado que van por fuera de la fachada y que con el sol acaban cuarteándose y rompiéndose con el tiempo. Desde que la puse, se nota una gran diferencia en la temperatura: refleja muchísimo el calor y protege muy bien el conducto. Además, aguanta perfectamente el sol y la intemperie, no se despega ni se deteriora. La cinta es gruesa, pega fuerte y se trabaja bien. Para este tipo de reparaciones y protección térmica va de lujo. Muy recomendable si tienes tubos de aire o instalaciones expuestas al sol.
