I’ve been purchasing Xmas gift bags for the last few years; they offer an ease to wrapping even the most awkwardly shaped gift quickly. It takes longer to write on the gift tags than it does to pop a gift into a bag and quickly wrap up the top with some seasonal looking ribbon. This pack offers the best selection yet and it’s a very reasonable cost when compared to other comparable items. Don’t be put off by the obvious plastic smell when you unpackage these bags; this quickly dissipates. These bags are sturdy and colourful. There is a good selection of sizes; in fact the XL size bags in this selection are the largest I’ve come across and are perfect for wrapping up even large toys. The smallest bag was least used but still an adequate size for items such as jewellery/perfume bottle/small candles. Ironically this is the one size you receive the most of.There are 4 different sizes/with different patterns bags; and in this set there are x5 Extra Large, x5 Large, x5 Medium, x5 Small and x10 Extra Small (a total of 30 gift bags). The included tags seemed very random and only a few matched the bags. I should mention that I did only receive 28 tags in my pack. Perhaps someone out there received 32 of them. I was also a little worried the white bags would be a little see through and I was right. In fact most of these bags are a little transparent and if a box has bold text or illustrations you can see this is you press the gift bag to the item inside. Durable material and well sealed; no chance of any box corners ripping the packaging. Choice of silver ribbon or red/white string for closure.Cons: A little smelly when unpacked. Miscellaneous unmatching tags and not enough provided. No drawstring closure. I would have preferred a few more of the larger sized bags rather than 10 of the smallest size. Careful inspection reveals you can see through the bag and get a good idea of the gift inside if it has bold advertising on its box.

More fiddly than the pull string bags, which was difficult for me

Ideal, so much better than trying to wrap awkward shaped presents & looks really good.

These are brilliant for me as I am partially disabled so it is not easy to wrap parcels.
