3HP 2.2kW AC 220V Single-phase VFD Drive Inverter Single to 3 Phase Professional Variable Frequency Drive Speed Controller AT1-2200X for 3-phase 2.2kW AC Motor

Fairly quiet, I have a Moor jigboor. I use this as a phase inventor, so all the Moor controls operate normal. It is the second one I’ve bought. The first did not have the programming guide with it and I got nowhere with it, it was also sized to my motor. When I got it working it will only start the motor in low speed at the bottom of the RPM range and cuts out if the load is increased. This larger new one works great, starts the machine in either high or low at any RPM range. The programming manual leaves a bit to be desired! I am not sure it can be connected to code as there’s no way to run conduit to to from it. It requires Y or split wire on the terminal connections and there’s not much room!

So far this unit is doing fine on my AC unit after 6mos. The instructions could be better, but it's not super complicated. This unit was 1/4 the price of the original. Great value for the money! Like the display and ease of setting the speed by a dial vs having to go into the program to set the speed.

The first one worked for an hour and, while sitting idle, blew up with a big snap and some smoke. Amazon replaced it and the second one has been working for a few weeks now. Works great on my 1986 vintage 3hp Powermatic 66. As others have stated the instructions are not great, but I have some electrical experience so I got it hooked up OK. I'm pretty sure I can run an outboard on/off switch with it and I can't figure it out from the instructions. Their tech support contacted me about the return, I asked about the switch and they said they would get back to me but never did.

Unit overloaded with an error code that could not be cleared. Sent the unit back and replaced it with a Teco Westinghouse vfd

I'm not buying any more of these. With an American VFD you get a booklet that shows how to install and program. With this you get a one page translated hard to understand pathetic instructions. If it weren't for YouTube videos I doubt I would have got this wired and running. Instead of using L1, L2, and L3 or T1, T2, and T3 as far as power in and out these folks use L, N, E and W, V, U. What the hell???

Very simple to set-up and program, however I would appreciate to get more detailed manual so I can easily connect a remote. Low noise and very simple to operate.
