KardiaMobile 6-Lead ECG Heart Rate Monitor with 1-Month KardiaCare

Very impressive device. I’m not sure how to say if it’s accurate but it does seem to work really well. Very simple to setup, measurements are very easy and quick to do. The app saves the data and you can export it to pdf. Great value, portable and very useful.

Bit expensive, and setting up the free trial was a palaver. Also having one of the pads doubling as a battery cover will be a bit of a nightmare when the batteries need changing.But, it works really well.My wife has AF sporadically, but never when she was wearing a hospital issued heart meter. And so it was impossible for doctors to fully diagnose her.But having this device handy meant we could capture it as soon as it happened, and the NHS were happy to accept the readings.My wife's AF is now under control.

Discreet and easy to use. Very portable, so easy to take out with you. I bought a separate case for mine. Works alongside the KardiaMobile app, which you download onto your smartphone. You don't need to purchase the additional subscription but I'm sure if you wanted to it would be worthwhile, as it gives you access to more data and reports etc. On the non-subscription version you can download an ECG to send onto your doctor if need be. Definitely glad I purchased this.

It's a con, you buy this and only get all the features if you pay for the premium subscription. Without this subscription it's not a 6 lead ecg.The app is obviously designed for the American market, spelling, dates and worst of all, it uses American standards to measure things like BP which told me I've for hypertension when I don't, it panicked me a bit when I seen it, so I spent over an hour on the phone to speak with my Dr and cardiologist to be reassured I'm fine and don't have hypertension. American standards are different to EU and UK standards, I'm really confused how they can sell a medical device in the UK and EU that uses Amarican standards. Every other medical app I have for a device allows me change the settings to use the measurements that suit my region, this doesn't. It's as if it was designed for the American market and they they though, let's sell it in Europe and the UK too and did nothing to make it match our standards.Privacy is also a big concern, they send your data outside the UK and EU. If they aren't meeting basic EU medical standards in their app, I would bet they aren't adhering to EU data laws either.Overall the device itself is good, but you've got to pay to use it fully, if not it's like a cheap one lead. They didn't bother using UK or EU standards for measurements, so you've got to figure this out yourself with each reading.Personally I'm sending mine back and going with a brand I can trust not to rip me off and steal my data.

I was advised to purchase this device - the KardiaMobile 6-Lead Personal ECG Heart Rate Monitor, by my cardiologist, because I have been experiencing unexpected episodes of tachycardia (fast and irregular heart beats).The data that this device captures is of such a high medical standard that it can be interpreted by healthcare professionals.The device itself is small and discrete so it can be taken out everywhere with me.Readings are taken by pressing the device onto one’s thigh using both thumbs and holding it there for 30 seconds while the smartphone app captures a recording.In fact I recently experienced a bout of tachycardia whilst I was out shopping in a high end department store.So, I opened the app, placed my phone on a nearby counter, then pushed the device down a trouser leg using both hands, pressing it into my thigh with both thumbs, all whilst attempting to operate my phone screen with my nose.Almost immediately I was being dragged out of the store by two security guards who ignored my please of “I’ll be finished in 30 seconds”.However, I am so glad that I bought this device and the peace of mind that comes with it, in being able to provide valuable, useable data for my heart consultant.Recommend!

The device itself is decent. It's a small, easy to use and it was easy to setup.I'm rating it three out of five because I still haven't been given the promised one month free use of KardiaCare. I knew that there was a monthly fee to access more advanced features, so I specifically bought the version of the product on Amazon that included a month for free. There is nothing in the packaging that tells you how to get this, nor in the app. I have reached out to Kardia support twice but just don't get a response. It's a really poor customer experience. I would likely have subscribed after the free period, but I didn't want to commit until I knew the value of a subscription.

Funcionamento do equipamento e APP de acordo com o descrito. Gera realmente ECG de 6 canais com muita fiabilidade. No início do registo pode haver um pequeno período de interferência com EMG (contração dos músculos dos membros superiores até conseguir boa aquisição) mas logo de seguida, consegue-se um bom registo.A partir da aplicação pode-se rever os registos efetuados, gerar um PDF pronto para enviar para o cardiologista! Fundamental a aplicação ter uma opção gratuita ilimitada.

Das Gerät schreibt tatsächlich ein EKG. App runterladen und Gerät ankoppeln war problemlos, allerdings App zu benutzen kostet Geld, ca. 100 Euro/Jahr

Selten, dass Geräte so schlicht und einfach sind. Super klein, passt für die Hosentasche. Wertiges Design. Inbetriebnahme in einer Minute. Mit einem großen Haken: Das Gerät funktioniert nur mit der App und die App lässt sich nur nutzen, wenn man den Nutzungsbedingungen zustimmt. Den Nutzungsbestimmungen kannst du nur zustimmen, wenn du damit einverstanden bist, dass deine Daten "zur Analyse" anonymisiert in die USA geschickt werden. Meiner Meinung nach widerspricht das dem EU-Datenschutz und dürfte so nicht in DE vertrieben werden.
