Rubies at Party City DC Comics: Wonder Woman Costume T-Shirt With Cape And Headband for Adults

Fun and comfortable “costume.” It arrived as advertised, including headband. It does run small. I usually wear a medium. I ordered a large and it’s a tad tight across my bust. Still comfortable but not baggy. So far I’ve used it twice this season.

This adorable Wonder-woman shirt with matching head band and attached cape came in handy for work this week! We had a themed “superhero’s and villains” day and I bought this just the other day on Amazon for a quick delivery and got TONS of compliments at work. I work in healthcare so I looked fashionable and yet it was function-able enough for me to do my job! I will note sizing is slightly on the fitted/smaller size so for example I’m a comfortable medium but ordered a large and I’m glad I did after reading other reviews because the large fit more like a medium and worked perfectly. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs a last minute costume! 😍

My husband and I are going to be superheroes along with my 4 year old son for Halloween. It’s what he asked for (my son). So when I went online to find a Wonder Woman costume, it was hard to find something not sexy. I was so happy to find this! It was perfect since I felt it would be weird dressing up in a character my son suggested, and it being sexy...anyway, that’s a whole other topic. It’s going to be great. If you’re interested in this costume it’s because you want something low key, and affordable. So I’m going to rate it as so, and not pretend it was supposed to be this grand thing. It will do the job. That being said, there are things that must be mentioned: I read the reviews, the SHIRT RUNS SMALL, so I ordered a medium (I normally fit XS or S, depending on the brand). You MIGHT fit a small if you like the tight, form fitting kind of shirt and you have no muffin top. But, I do (have a muffin top), so I’m more comfortable in something slightly loose. The medium is perfect. The tiara. Is super cheap. It’s made of that foam stuff and fused to fabric. But you should know that already, looking at the pictures and reviews. But you may want to know that the back half is a white flat elastic. Mine looked stretched out, and the tiara was loose on my head. So I removed the old elastic, and sewed a black elastic on tighter. It should have been black, anyway, in my opinion. If you’re dressing up as Wonder Woman she has black hair, so it will blend in better. I only had the skinny round elastic on hand so I doubled it up and I think it will work fine. Otherwise no complaints. The costume is low key, so it works for me. So I posted pictures of the tiara so you can see how the elastic was stretched (it’s stretched more I think on one side, which is why it curls in some places). And then I posted my new tiara (excuse my rudimentary hand sewing).

Perfect for Halloween party

The shirt is fun & cute and looks as the picture does but the sizing is not accurate :( I typically wear a Large in tshirts because I don’t like shirts being tighter around my stomach, but I can also wear Medium. I ordered a size larger as the reviews suggested (XL) and the shirt is still tight 🥴 I should have ordered a 2XL. The shirt is really tight on my arms & not as loose in the stomach area as I like. I’ve never bought a t shirt that’s tight in my arms as I don’t have large arms, but this one is. Just beware that you may want to order a couple of sizes larger than your true size. The cape is detachable with Velcro.

It was perfect A big hit at work

I love this shirt. I was a little nervous that the material would be too thin based on some of the reviews. It was thin but no thinner than a t-shirt from Old Navy or a camisole. As long as you are not wearing a patterned or dark colored bra, you would not notice it was not a thicker shirt. The cut is flattering and was not too tight on my hips which are wider than my waist by more than a pants size. The tiara is foam and cheesy but cute with the shirt- the only complaint is that it is not thick enough. It seems more proportioned to a child's forehead than an adults, the band however fit fine. My husband has the Superman shirt and we ordered my daughter a Wonder Woman costume, all worn for her Wonder Woman birthday party. I've gotta be honest.....I totally ran around pretending the cape was flying up behind me for a while. Clearly, I love the shirt and will be wearing it again.

I just received my shirt for Halloween. I love that it’s an easy and simple costume especially for work and goes with my daughter’s outfit later for trick or treating. The color is vibrant and shirt seems well made enough for the price. So I ordered an x-large since I typically wear a large these days giving that I just gave birth, which most of the reviews said the shirt runs very small. I was worried that the xl wouldn’t even fit. I was even considering ordering a xxl! When I took it out the wrapper I was shocked at how big the shirt was. I tried it on and it fits me more like a slightly smaller cut xl shirt. I really wanted to return for a large since I feel the shirt would look cuter more form fitting on me but I’m not going to bother returning since Halloween is just days away. The shirt even has stretch to it which I was surprised. I would recommend to order your usual size if you want a shirt to fit form fitting but if you want it to fit looser, to order just one size up. Overall I’m happy it’s just a quick and simple outfit for cheap.
