worth it - i have the need for speed
edit: About one year and 7000 miles later, the wheels are toast. The rims are fine but the rear hub has had enough maintenance issues I am putting it aside. I guess I could get someone else to re-lace the back rim with a new hub...not sure its worth it though. I rode this wheelset hard, through snow and ice and it handled it well, but after around 5000 miles the freehub seized. When this happened I was able to take it apart and regrease it and it worked fine... Around 7000 miles I started having huge drivetrain issues, chain drops under load, ghost shifts, etc etc. I checked and replaced other drive train components before eventually figuring out the freehub shell was rattling around its axis. I tried to take it apart again to see if I could repair a second time but the threads are now bonded ? and I cannot take it apart. At this point, I have decided to accept this freehub is at the end of its natural life. . All in all, I really enjoyed the wheels and I went fast on them, probably faster than the stock wheels. However, now as I have returned to the office most of my mileage went from fun/fast fitness rides to daily commuting and I am not sure these wheels have the robustness to stand up to up to my wet environment. I mostly feel I got what I paid for e.g. 350/7000= 5 cents a mile. Review 0: This is only after 30 or so miles. I will update after 500 miles. I got into biking 6 months ago and primarily commute 8 miles each way and do some sportive rides. Longest ride is only 40 miles. I ride 100-200 miles a week. I am extremely pleased with these wheels. I ride an extremely entry level endurance road bike, the Triban rc 120 with an 8 speed microshift groupset. Putting carbon on this bike is kinda like putting lipstick on a pig...or so I thought. A few weeks ago I crashed my front alloy rim and replaced it with a heavy and sluggish cheap replacement. I decided to get these wheels a ) to look gangsta b) feel fast c) go fast d) hopefully maintain speed in some intense headwinds. So far the wheels are delivering on all fronts. I am going reliably 1-2 miles per hour faster and I haven't even ridden clipless yet ( I ride on flats when I commute). The big changes are the wheels feel more responsive, light, and have a big snap in them. By snap I mean when I accelerate, I feel the power going into the road immediately. It is easier to maintain speed and I think my peak speeds will increase. The wheels make a nice whooshing sound also. Basically, the wheels make me want to ride more. They also increased ride comfort, smoothing out some bump, but I also feel way more in control of my bike and can take tighter corners and lines. I am also running a lower psi, I dropped to 80 or so from 100 psi. I am running gp5000s in 28mm. Issues: I had some trouble installing a casette-it was really wobbly and caused shifting issues. (overshifts) I think this was user error. After this I removed the cassette and swapped in my spare 8 speed cassette (11-34). The valve extender took a little finagling but work great. The spare worked fine immediately? Not sure what was wrong with that. In summary, my only regret is not getting these wheels sooner.

Inexpensive and solid wheelset
I’ve got about 500 miles on these and have had zero issues. Went from original aluminum DT Swiss R460’s to these and I’d say the ride is a quite a bit of difference. This is my first set of carbon fiber wheels and i wished I’d done this a long time ago. Carbon has more absorption of the road making it a smoother ride. I definitely feel faster as the Hubs have a long spin. Rim tape was already installed, plus. They do provide extra spokes and the carbon fiber specific brake pads, also a plus. Only downside is the quick release axle skewers were to short for my bike so i just used my old ones. Rear hub is pretty freakin loud as well. Cicada swarm coming down the road! I had been eyeing these wheels for quite sometime and there are many options of the same wheel all over Amazon. Colors/design etc. what i really wanted was the all matte black ones with no design/color. But i ended up getting these specific wheels as other ones on Amazon were not - UCI approved wheels. Since i hadn’t seen these specific wheels over the last year or more researching i figured these would be the latest and greatest and newer manufactured sets. Newer = better/safer/tested etc. it seemed like a fair assumption. Lastly, any new wheelset makes it feel like a new bike and I’ve been happy to spend some more time in the saddle with the Super Team’s. I would recommend this wheelset to anyone and especially to anyone looking to upgrade to carbon without breaking the bank.

Great wheelset, but had to clean/lube internals after 1000 miles
I've ridden these wheels for about 6-7 weeks and 750 miles and so far I'm really impressed with the quality. Still perfectly true and the braking surface seems to be holding up well. I'm about 190lb and there hasn't been any creaking or noticeable flexing when putting out 400-500W on hill segments (I've noticed flexing on cheap aluminum wheels like the DP18). There were a couple of minor creaks on my first ride or two, and I assume this was the spokes settling into position in the rims. No sounds at all after those initial rides. Anyway, these seem like great wheels and they're a lot of fun to ride. Excited to see how long they'll last! Update 1: after 3.5 months and 1100 miles, I've removed the rear wheel because it makes popping/clicking noises whenever the chain engages on a pedal stroke. Bad enough that it's not really rideable. After removing the cassette, I've been able to reproduce the sound by twisting the drive side of the hub with my hand, so it's definitely not a spoke tension issue (although I tried adjusting spoke tension as well) and seems like the pawls aren't engaging cleanly in the hub. Update 2: I took the hub apart and cleaned and greased the pawls and notches, and this completely fixed the popping noises. It seems like there just wasn't enough lubrication and the pawls had been catching before fully engaging, in case this helps anyone. Glad it was a relatively simple fix!

Update
I have over 2000 miles on them now and they’re doing great. I had a balance issue early on. They would wobble around 30mph. I bought golf club weights and stuck inside the rim beneath the rim tape. The real solution was to switch from 80mm stem tubes to 60mm. “60mm is just long enough to get my tire pump on” The back wheel was perfect no weights necessary. The front still needed one. I’ve had them up to 40mph, smooth rolling no problems. The breaking surface is in good shape to date. I was paranoid about the breaking surface early on and babied them but now I just ride. I do inspect them along with the tires after long rides. I’ve lost some weight but still a big rider 195 lbs. Excellent value. I like these wheels. Just under 300 miles so far. They’ve been perfect. I’ve just started riding again and I’m coming back heavy 215 lbs. They are fast. No problems with braking. Somewhat hilly where I am so I did trto break them in a little making sure not to heat them up too much the first 50 miles or so. The hubs seem ok I don’t notice any more play or slack than my Ksyriums. The rims came true out of the box. They shipped from China. I received them three weeks from when I ordered. I will update after a couple thousand miles or earlier if need be. I been riding Mavic Ksyrium ES Anniversary Editions and have over 20K miles on them. I replaced bearings with ceramic at about 10K. The wheels are still perfect. So that’s my standard. I payed $1000 for them 14 years ago. These Super Team Wheels are faster at 1/3 the cost.

Great value option
Came in perfectly true, so far no issues whatsoever. Total weight of the two wheels in 25x50 was 1,527 grams. (For reference, my old aluminum set in 19x20 that these replaced were 1,953 grams) The hub is noisy but that seems to be the trend these days. It doesn’t actually bother me but I’m more worried about it annoying others. The hub is an R13, (w/ J-bend style spokes) which is a pretty standard budget hub for these new Chinese companies. At sub $400 for the set I can’t complain, you could spend twice that for little to no gain in any aspect. And you can always swap out the bearings for ceramic later, or replace the spokes with carbon ones and still be cheaper than buying a set that comes with those things. I’d say you can buy these with confidence.

SuperTeam 700x28-50 wheels on bike
Second set of SuperTeam wheels . Tremendous bang for the buck. First set has stayed “true” for ten years. Running a new set now 700x 28 50. Impressive.

Great Looking Wheels. Great Quality Feel
Update! Still going strong about 3500... My wife has now inherited these as I've bought a new Bike.. and opted for the disc brake Superteam version. I have never had to true these wheels in the time I have had them.. almost 2 years. Bearings still spin as well as they did on day one. I was cleaning the bike after a sandy ride near the beach and couldn't believe that after 2 minutes the wheels were still spinning without any issues. Can't recommend these enough. Got about 500 miles on these now. Had a slight issue when they first arrived not being 100%, but they have stayed in place. They are super light. Got caught in the rain with them a couple of weeks ago. Have noticed no issues with the bearings. Came with everything you need. Valve extenders, extra spokes. Would definitely recommend these wheels. They are officially UCI approved.

Horrible customer service if you have issues
*** 1 star for customer service*** Overall I am impressed with the astethetics of the wheels/components. They are light and seem to be well made for the most part. Problems- my front wheel makes a popping noise every rotation. I contacted the seller and after numerous pictures/videos they decided to send a replacement rim. I didn't realize that meant no spokes/hub installed. (BTW still don't have it cause it's coming from china) I don't have the tools to work on rims and the local bike shop wants $120+ to swap the components over and true the wheel again. I wrote the seller back and their response was "the spokes and hub are good, we are only sending the rim to you, and you agreed" I THOUGHT IT WAS AN ENTIRE WHEEL COMING TO ME. I spent $385 and now I gotta drop another 120 to get the wheel fixed? This is BS. After I completely stripped the wheel, I discovered that something is rattling inside of the cavity and I can't seem to remove it. Maybe it's a spoke nipple that was dropped and they just assembled it anyway? Who knows. Local bike shop checked the spoke tension and it's crazy high compared to the recommended 90kfg on the listing. I've learned if I have ANY issues, just return everything...don't attempt to work with the seller and get the short straw like I have. Update- I have located the noise, added a video. The inner carbon structure is broken/cracked so with every rotation it pops. Seller still won't replace for me and I haven't even owned them 30 days yet.
