Capri Tools 30035 10mm XZN Triple Square Bit Socket with 3/8-Inch Drive

Needed this specific 12 point, dad is mechanic and did not have these, was looking for it. Though it was a M13, but was little loose, this M14 fits perfect, how time to replace wife rotors and brakes. Feel well made, heavy and sturdy.

Used for VW rear wheel bearings. Worked great for my application even with the absurd amount of torque required to break the bolt free. Great value and excellent fitment.

After breaking 4 3/8 sockets, i was skeptical of this and had to order two, turns out, 1 is enough, strong and did the job of taking the rear axle tough bolt for my VW Jetta

I stripped an allen wrench 8mm bolt on my Jeep. Used the Capri 9mm torx bit to extract the stripped bolt and it gripped nicely. A few taps with a hammer to seat the bit and the bolt came out like a breeze. Much better than extractors that I tried.

Finally, I was able to adjust the door on my VW Golf.

search came up with this for Ford Focus splines , but wrong size. quality is ok .

For anyone buying this to change the head gasket in a 2010-2015 Toyota Prius.. this is not the correct size. You're looking for a 10mm bi-hexagonal. They are not the same, this will not fit.

The car battery is under the drivers seat in my Touareg. A triple square (12 point) male bit is required for removing two bolts at the front of the seat rails in order to tip the drivers seat backwards to expose the battery. I have done this job before , but recently decided that if I had a battery failure on the road , I would need to have this 10mm triple square tool and a 3/8 drive wrench handy just in case I needed to replace the battery far from home. I keep the tool bit and wrench in a tool bag in the truck area, with jumper cables. I may never need it, but it's good to know I have it at the ready, won't need to hunt for it at home or away from home.

Like many of other reviewers here, I bought this to undo the rear calipers on a Volkswagen GTI. The socket did the job admirably, but was a bit too long for comfort. There's very little clearance behind the wheel hub, and fitting the socket with a ratchet head behind it could be challenge. This 1/2" drive version is a better tool for the job (as opposed to other 3/8" versions out there) as the bolts are in really tight, and you want the strongest ratchet you can fit in there.
