Jen Kingwell Acrylic Template Set - Halo (Jenny from One Block)

Love these templates!!!! The one thing to know is there are no instructions with the set. If you are a seasoned quilter you can probably figure it out from the picture on the front.

The templates are perfect.I ordered the pattern book and instructions also. Challenging pattern , but not as difficult as expected.

I want to make a roads quilt. I sat and played with the pieces until I figured out how I can use the templates for that. I didn’t buy the booklet because I got the girl house pattern instead. I’m going to add different blocks to it and probably make a few templates to work with this. I’m likely going to use plastic drawers to store the templates. They are a good weight and quality. I’m going to cut the curves with scissors after marking them with water soluble markers. I’ll separate her templates with zip lock bags because the other set I’m getting seems to have the same numbers.I love her style

Templates are great. Tough and durable. Have made 2 blocks so far. Definitely need to use an 18mm or 28mm rotary blade, had to buy one quick because my 45mm was hacking up the curved acrylic pieces slightly. They are on the pricey side though.

This three star rating is for the seller's description, not the templates themselves. I'm still waiting on them to arrive. I ordered these templates for the Halo pattern, knowing that I had already purchased the Quilt Lovely book. I should have checked the book before ordering, as this pattern is not included in that book. I have no problem ordering the pattern or another book, I love Jen Kingwell's patterns. BUT, now I will have to wait for the pattern to arrive.
