Orange Crush 12: Small Amp—Big Sound!
The Orange Crush 12 12W 6" Guitar Amplifier and Speaker Combo has far exceeded my expectations. For a few decades I have used mostly Fender amps. Those Fender amps were and still are great amps, especially the tube amps. As for Fender solid-state amps, not so much. The sound of the Orange Crush 12 12W 6" solid-state amp sounds much better than any other solid-state amp I've tried. It's very basic and easy to use, and it has a big enough sound to mic up and do a gig in a small venue, or use it to record with. As for the controls, it comes equipped with volume, gain, overdrive, low, mid, and high tone controls. The amount of good, clean (not fuzzy or muddy) distortion can't be matched in any Fender or Marshall at the same price point. The one thing that it doesn't have is reverb, which is okay with me. I prefer delay over reverb anyway, and I purchased an inexpensive KMISE digital delay pedal, and it sounds phenomenal. Even with the extra pedals, I still came out spending less money than what the Fender Champion II costs, and I got a much better sound with the Orange Crush 12 amp.

Great for beginners to pros
I recommended this to my niece when she was transitioning from acoustic to electric, and then I ended up getting one myself as a practice amp. I play a Strat with active pickups, and the tone with direct input (no pedal board) punches well beyond its weight class. I’m excited to start testing out different effects and tones, but so far this is a perfect amp for the price. Overall, this amp is an excellent choice for beginners or veteran players looking for a small practice amp.

Great for beginners and looks great.
Distortion is decent & build quality seems nice. It’s small. Clean tones and distortion are pretty good. Overall a good budget, beginner practice amp. It gets pretty loud. I barely ever put the volume over half way. And it works well with pedals as well. I feel like an amp like this should be around $75 at most. But I would recommend this for what it’s used for and the quality of it. Ive been happy with it so far.

Perfectly fine
Let’s make it easy; Loud, portable, easy to use, and durable. More importantly you don’t need more than this for basic practicing and messing around solo.

Nice inexpensive practice amp
Good little practice amp. Nice sound for a little guy !👍 Gave only 4 stars because seems a little 'weak'/cheap in spots..¿ like back plug for power cord seems cheap/breakable after some time. Not sure how robust it is if you move it around alot...¿

Orange enough for the price!
I bought this intending it to be my "at the cabin" practice amp, anticipating leaving it there. Now I'm sure it's going to stay with me and make the drive back and forth, while my original practice amp (a Fender Frontman) sits idle. For the price, this solid state product is able to achieve the Orange sound which I've always coveted. It is also compact, lightweight, and looks great. I play it plugged in straight (which will be the "away from home" configuration) but it also takes my pedalboard way better than I anticipated. I've used it at jam sessions with no reservations or downside. I am probably putting more practice time in, and I believe that is at least partially attributable to enjoying my tone more, or at least having more fun pursuing it. I'm most frequently using it with a Strat. I know the biggest knock on it is only one channel, so you have to adjust one or more knobs to change tone, but honestly, if you can't achieve that with the pickups, volume and tone settings on the guitar and pedals, you may be asking too much of a $100 amp. I love the Orange sound and overall brand, and this was a pretty easy way to get into it myself.

Great Practice Amp!
This is a great practice amp, and I'm more than impressed with its performance. The tones and music coming from it are pure and clear. Though it's only 12 watts, it gets incredibly loud while maintaining the crispness of the music. There's no feedback unless you have it calibrated oddly. It does both clean and dirty, making the most beautiful sounds. We upgraded to this from a Champ 15, and the quality of the sound from the Orange amp is so much cleaner (or dirtier - your choice. ;) ). It's compact, so it fits in my tiny house well. It's very sturdily built; for the low price, it's not constructed cheaply. And, the great cool orange color is fantastic!

A great little amp.
I got the base model with 3 band EQ. Dime the EQ, unlike everyone, and you'll find your tone. Much of the tone comes from the way you play, not zeroing the mids or anything. This is a pretty great little amp to have around, I think. I've played guitar since I was 11 and I'm now 36. Anyone who says the tone is bad, it's because their guitar and way of playing sucks, or maybe they got a defective model. Learn your instrument.

Great sound for practice and awesome quality. A bit pricey though.
