Zebra Sarasa Clip 0.5 Retractable Gel Ink Pen, Rubber Grip, 0.5 mm, Vintage Colors, 10 Color Bundle (JJ15-5C-VI+JJ15-5C-VI2)

These are the nicest pens. The colors are amazing and look like custom fountain pen ink. The jewel tones look expensive and are comfortable to read. The colors are aesthetically appealing and make journaling a special treat. I love the fine point--it has the perfect amount of scratch on the paper. I also love how my handwriting looks neater with the finer tip. The ink doesn't get gummy or clump. It wrote perfectly as soon as I took the little protector ball off the tip. I was testing these out and disassembled one to see how much ink it held. A lot! What surprised me was the shape of the cartridge. It looked very similar to one I've been looking for. I ran to my desk to grab my two pens I bought about 25 years ago at the Disney store. One is a Jiminy Cricket pen that is black and silver and came is a wooden box. The other one is also black and silver but with mouse ears in a diamond pattern all over the pen. Both pens were made by Colibri. I have been trying to find compatible fine tip refills for almost two decades! Guess what!? THESE FIT!!! Huge surprise bonus! I am so happy! I am so happy with these pens! I didn't even mention the clips! I love them so much!

First, how anyone could possibly find these fabulous pens scratchy, I cannot think, because they are so smooth they float in my hand with very little pressure necessary. Utmost smoothness! I tried them on really great quality Midori and Rhodia papers, as well as regular Oxford index cards and Mead notepaper and the result is very similar….FABULOUS!! Obviously, expensive paper is the ultimate experience, especially with my Pilot fountain pens, but the paper does NOT make theses pens. Perhaps some people are in the habit of applying a lot of pressure when they write and if it’s scratchy, how can they blame the pen?? Seriously, writing with average pressure using these pens is a wonderful writing experience and I also find myself lightening my pressure just a bit, because feels so good! And the colors….AMAZING!! The “yellow” color is really a super cool gold with a lot of depth, which is stunning on both white or cream paper, and every color is so rich and has lovely depth. And at the current price, I popped a few more in my cart after trying these, bc at that price ($9-something for 10 pens!!) I just couldn’t help myself. One 5-pen set of 0.38 ultra fine pens are $14.99 today, for goodness’ sake!! And lately it’s often really a crapshoot these days to tell the difference between 0.5, 0.4, or 0.38 widths between and within brands, bc there’s so much variation, and these 0.5’s feel and look more like the thinner versions; they are both fine and side enough to see the color really well. Anyway, I cannot morally try a set of pens by taking the wax protectors off the tips, and then return them, because Amazon’s quality control has slipped so far that they just send them out used to some poor person who pays full price….I am not judging, just telling it like it is! No worries here, because these are such wonderful pens!!

One could say I am into pens. But that would be an understatement. I'm a little bit of a pen hoarder and a terrible pen snob. I had seen this set in my searching for my new favorite pen, but I didn't have any awesome memories of other pens I had owned made by this company. Finally my curiosity got the best of me. I ordered the set with very low expectations. Oh my goodness. These pens are 100% my favorite, and I don't see that changing -- ever. First of all, the colors are amazing. It's hard to even choose a favorite, but currently I'm really enjoying the dark red, green, and dark blue. But, every color writes equally well, and the brown and mustard colors are very special. Even the black makes me smile, not because of the color necessarily, but because of the incredibly sense of satisfaction I get from writing with these quality instruments. These pens write with the first stroke every time. There is zero skipping or blobbing. They are consistent. I write in my journal with them every day -- I write quite a bit. I also adore them for doing pen and ink art. They have a nice grip and a mechanically sturdy. I love these pens so much that I have purchased five sets over the past few months. Yup, five. I had purchased the mustard, green, and dark red individually at an art store, and I knew these were The Pens! I bought my first set and I loved them so much that I needed another set for work (I'm a teacher). Then, my daughter tried one and was hooked. So I got her a set. A fellow teacher also likes pens, and since I like to share, I got her a set also. And now, with secret santa coming up, I have a fifth set that will be part of my gift to her. Believe me when I say that if you like gel pens that write smoothly, consistently, and beautifully, these are the pens for you.

This is my second time buying the Zebra Sarasa Clip 0.5 gel pen set, and it’s easily my favorite pen! The vintage colors are absolutely beautiful soft, unique, and perfect for everyday writing or color-coding. The pens write so smoothly, and the 0.5 tip is just right not too thick or too fine. I keep coming back to these because they’re just that good. If you love smooth-writing pens with gorgeous colors, I highly recommend this set!

Amazing pens, they can be a little scratchy but it's not that big of a deal. No skipping, smooth ink flow, and the colours are phenomenal.

Very smooth pens, they aren't splotchy at all and I've had these for a while and the ink has also not run out yet. Worth it, as good if not better than the pilot ones. Cute colors too

These are my all time favorite pens on the planet earth. And I’m one of those super picky pen people. Would give 10 stars if I could. I’ve bought this set three times now and I’ll be keeping them in stock for the rest of my days. The ink colors match the pens exactly and are all beautiful. The pens write sooo smooth and last forever. I usually lose them before they run out. But these might be the only pens I’ve ever actually kept track of long enough to run out of ink. People are always asking to borrow them at work and I just can’t risk it. I love them too much I think.

I really hope they never discontinue these. The colours are really unique well not looking weird wouldn’t normally write with a yellow pen but the mustard coloured is chefs kiss genuinely they are all really usable in everyday life well still being slightly different in the colours they write incredibly well and the pen size is perfect for me. This multi pack is really good quality for money and I will be buying them again if anyone steals my pens. I’m actually gonna be genuinely upset.
