Great product
My wife and I recently stumbled upon a true gem in the world of herbal smoking alternatives - the "Honeyrose Farmer's HoneyBlend." This unique herbal mixture is not only tobacco-free but also completely nicotine-free, making it a healthier choice for those looking to enjoy a relaxing smoke. From the moment my wife took her first puff, she was captivated by the rich and aromatic blend of herbs and honey. The delightful sweetness of the honey perfectly complemented the earthy undertones of the herbs, creating a truly harmonious experience. One of the things that stood out to us was the meticulous craftsmanship that went into creating this blend. It's evident that Honeyrose takes pride in sourcing the finest herbs and honey to ensure a top-notch product. The blend burns smoothly and evenly, providing a satisfying smoke that doesn't compromise on taste. What impressed us the most was the absence of nicotine. As someone who has struggled with quitting traditional tobacco, my wife found solace in the fact that she could enjoy a smoke without the addictive properties of nicotine. It's a game-changer for anyone looking to break free from nicotine addiction. The "Farmer's HoneyBlend" has become a staple in our household, offering a soothing and flavorful alternative to traditional smoking. Whether it's a quiet evening on the porch or a social gathering with friends, this herbal mixture has earned its place as our go-to choice. In a world filled with smoking alternatives, Honeyrose's "Farmer's HoneyBlend" truly stands out for its quality, taste, and nicotine-free promise. It's a product that has brought joy to my wife and a sense of satisfaction to our smoking experience. If you're searching for a healthier and more flavorful smoking alternative, look no further - Honeyrose has got it just right!

Delicious tobacco stand-in...
Honeyrose is a pretty good smoke, especially if you like heavily cased aromatic tobacco flavors. It looks somewhat like tobacco. It has a cut similar to many pipe tobaccos. It has a color that is similar to some pipe tobaccos, but there is a very subtle green tinge to some of the pieces. The tin note is sweet and sumptuous , a little reminiscent of some fine heavily flavored domestic pipe tobaccos like Blood Red Moon and Eileen's Dream. It smokes very much like pipe tobacco and stays lit a bit better than many conventional smokes and burns all the way to the bottom of the bowl to a nice, fine white ash. It burns a bit too hot, but doesn't really seem to bite for all that. All in all, it's pretty well-behaved. It seems fairly wet when the pouch is first opened, but that level of moisture turns out to be Goldilocks for this particular mixture, so it burns nicely straight from the pouch without preliminary drying. It has a wonderful room note and a nice, sweet tobacco flavor that's not complex in any way, but still relaxing and satisfying. I liken it somewhat to a fine flue-cured Virginia, for those with a nose for such things. It has some of that Virginia grassiness and sweetness and a bit of citrus. It even has a little of that pleasant tobacco acidity and a faint hint of its spiciness. Pretty impressive, actually. A corncob pipe or a moderately priced briar would be suitable for smoking this mixture, as it tends to smoke a bit wet and hot. It also seems to deposit a bit more gunk than a typical juicy aromatic, but nothing too off-putting. I might be wary of smoking Honeyrose in a Savinelli, Peterson, Briarworks, or other fine briar pipes. Time will tell. I do want to make one thing clear: if you are a fan of Balkans and Englishes and almost never smoke anything else, this is not the product for you. It is heavily cased and topped and will not offer any of the smokiness, pepperiness, or spiciness on the level of latakia, Turkish, or perique, It just ain't going to happen. If you're one to fawn over the likes of Quiet Nights, Balkan Sasieni, Gaslight, Penzance, or Nightcap, you may want to take a pass on this one. I knocked off one star for the dizzyingly high price tag for this product. Don't get me wrong, it's terrific if you want to avoid tobacco and its accompanying nicotine and its high quality is apparent. But, the price is very high, commensurate with some of the finest aged pipe tobaccos on offer. So, I would say that having a small supply of Honeyrose in your cellar is a good idea for those moments when you don't want a nic hit, but the cost may be too high for an everyday smoke. A 2oz. tin of SPC Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged--about $18. Two ounces of Honeyrose Farmer's--about $22. That should give most pipe aficionados pause.

Not for me.
Smells good from the package and when drifting out of the pipe. Initially tastes okay but as it gets warm gives the tongue a slight burning sensation. Not like the smoke is too hot but vaguely acrid. Leaves a slight chemically taste. I am sure some people will enjoy this. But itโs not for me.

Great pipe alternative to tobacco
I've been considering Honeyrose for a while since I really wanted to smoke my pipe but I also really DIDN'T want to become addicted to tobacco again after fifteen years of smokeless tobacco. I admit that I was a little sceptical of Honeyrose, especially after reading some of the reviews and watching a video or two. Nonetheless, when it arrived I was immediately impressed by the smell. After packing a bowl and firing it up I was thoroughly pleased with the smoke. I may not have the most well-trained tastebuds but I felt that the taste was very pleasant and it was very comparable to the traditional pipe tobacco that I had been smoking. In fact, I was shocked at how close it was to regular pipe tobacco. I was expecting something very different I packed it just like regular tobacco and smoked it just as I would regular tobacco. There was ZERO tongue bite and I had to re-light the Honeyrose less than tobacco. It did have a nice, noticable honey taste too. Overall, I would definately recommend this product if you're looking for something to smoke in a pipe that is not tobacco. I'll keep the other stuff around for special occassions but this will be my new go-to smoking blend. My only critique is that it is almost three times the price as the same size pouch of tobacco.

Sour, unfulfilling, spit-inducing experience
This stuff is SOUR and generates a LOT of spit. It also tastes terrible and doesn't smell all that great when burning. The only thing good about it is that it does burn nicely and smells nice in the package. I couldn't wait to finish the bowl. I definitely will not purchase this again because it is not a good smoke.

A last resort if you're used to the smell, taste, and mouthfeel of pipe tobacco
I'm sure that there are folks who really enjoy this blend, but I am not one of them. I had been looking at tobacco free alternatives to pipe tobacco when I came across this product on Amazon. I have tried homemade blends before that I had liked, but really wanted to find something that I could just order online instead of have to create on my own. I like cavendish blends, asian burleys, and even some of the more pungent balken tobacco blends, but this product was over the top. It's scent is incredibly pungent, and its flavor is somewhat skunky. The mouthfeel was also not all that pleasant. It was not very robust and quite thin feeling. Overall, this may be a very good blend for someone interested specifically in herbal blends. As a regular smoker of pipe tobacco, it was just too different to really enjoy or consider as an alternative.

A curious blend
I purchased this principally for two reasons, 1 - as my lady doesn't like the smell of traditional tobacco, and 2 - I had tried this product once before and been pleasantly surprised. In terms of its texture I'd recommend this more for pipe smoking than self-rolled cigarettes or "Rollies", and also due to the fact that initially there is a bonfire-like smell to it and the taste on the first couple of puffs is somewhat grassy. However the longer it burns the sweater it becomes until it has a flavour not unlike rose-hip syrup, which also becomes present in the smoke. Those used to bold tobacco flavours may be put off by its sweetness, but once you get used to it I find this becomes a very pleasing smoke, especially on a nice spring or summer evening. But the biggest pro to this product is simply that if your lady or wife does not appreciate the bold scent of a good pipe tobacco and you still enjoy indulging in your favourite bent billiard (change to proffered pipe as appropriate) then this should leave you satisfied and not smelling of anything other than a pleasant aroma.

Literally the best.
This product is the best herbal smoking blend I've come across and here is why: 1. It smells like vanilla 2. It's easy to roll 3. It is not harsh on the throat (like a lot of others) 4. The packaging is quality 5. It also tastes slightly vanillary 6. It is massively less worse than smoking tobacco Would give this product 6 stars if I could.

It does the job!
Agree with A Dicken below. Beware the molten lava falling into your lap! Yes, a bit harsh on the throat and smells better in the pouch than it tastes. Very anti-social, or at least I'm way more reluctant to smoke this than normal fags in company. Which is great, because the whole point is to stop smoking altogether. This does indeed stop the nicotine craving and in theory should now be easy to kick than cigarettes. So why am I ordering another pack...? Very pleased that after 25 years of smoking, I have been nicotine-free now for over a week, but I'm sure these are no good for you long-term either.

Smoked Pleasant
This product smells bad in the packet, but its great to smoke, ash doesn't fall off easily and there is no problem rolling this product. few large clumps but easily delt with using a grinder of some sort. very friendly subtance and can smoke around people without them moaning of the smell.
