Wow!
The amount of dead flies is insane. I haven't cleaned them out yet (*Edit below) and they are half full of flies. The bait I used was pretty stinky but not terrible. I have not noticed a smell from the flies. It's pretty easy to set up the hooks are a bit of a struggle but with a little patience it's easy enough. They aren't attractive, but no insect trap I've ever seen is. If you have a lot of flies outside these will kill MANY of them for the price. I think I may feed the dead flies to my chickens... But a bit reluctant. *Edit a few days later. I cleaned it out and it was not a very fun experience. I spent a bit of time shaking it then finally just grabbed a twig and used it to clear the funnel out of the tiny metal ring. My hands were covered in dry fly dust which doesn't smell great.. Though being nice dry fly dust and not moldy dead clumps of bodies I really felt comfortable feeding them to my chickens and my girls cleared an alarming amount of piles of flies. My sexlinks just ate straight flies while my barred rocks kept going between salad and flies, grass, strawberry leaves and back to flies. I won't give this product any points for cleaning! But at the end of the day--this was a very effective way to slow the fly population and get some very very high protein eggs. The cleaning is worth the eggs--dont feed your chickens moldy wet flies from other traps.

These don’t work. Don’t waste your money.
These don’t work. Flies escape and the bait is in the wrong place to get them inside the trap. Don’t waste your money. I’ve had mine for over a week and a few flies have gotten in, but they’ve all escaped.

WORKS GREAT
WORKS GREAT! BAIT MATTERS, get good bait. I used the refill packs for bags & added water

Does catch bugs, but...
Its a bit flimsy and not the easiest when it comes to "reusable" BUT it does catch flies really well

I’m glad I made the purchase
I have 4 hens that free range in my yard, and they of course poop everywhere so there are flies EVERYWHERE, especially on the front porch. I do clean the porch with the water hose and remove the poop, but there are still tons of flies. Unfortunately an occasional one will fly inside the house. I loathe flies. I was desperate to make them go away, so I decided to try out the traps. I had also made some homemade ones from videos on YouTube. The homemade ones do work, but they took 3-4 days to start trapping, and the flies still find their way out. I tried these green mesh traps and noticed their effect from one day to the next. There were only about 3-4 flies on the porch. The rest were on the trap closest to the front porch, but still about 30 feet away to draw them away from the front door. Pro: worked instantly, within 5 minutes of setting up the other 3 traps from the 4 pack, the first trap was already swarming with flies and had trapped several inside the mesh Con: very hard to add bait and keep adding new bait or moistening old bait. This is why I rate it 4/5. Overall I’m glad I made the purchase. 😄

Disappointing Build Quality and Not Very Stable Outdoors
I had higher hopes for this fly trap, but after handling it and putting it into use, I came away disappointed. The biggest issue for me is the overall build quality. The metal feels thin, and the trap does not feel especially sturdy in the hand. Instead of feeling solid and well made, it comes across as lightweight in a way that makes me question how well it will hold up over time. I also was not a fan of the center hanging hook design. It tends to move around too easily, and when flies enter or the trap gets bumped, that center point can shift out of place. That makes the whole setup feel less secure than it should. Because I use fly traps regularly around my ranch and greenhouse, I need something that feels dependable outdoors. This one does not really give me that confidence. Based on the materials and how it is put together, I am not convinced it will hold up especially well in windy conditions. So while the idea is good, the execution just did not feel like quality to me. If you only need something very light-duty, it may be enough, but for my use I was hoping for a sturdier and more durable trap. I would not personally recommend this one.

Scam and a waste of your time!
If I could give it no stars I would. Doesn’t work and it’s a waste of money. I put this up in my chicken coop the day I got them on the 9th and it’s the 14th still without a single fly caught. I used chicken poop to attract them to the bowl which works great, theres tons of flies in the bowl, but there’s too much of an opening from the bowl to the netting and they just fly right out. They don’t even fly up in the trap. It’s a total scam and a waste of time.
