What I was really impressed with was the detail and minor features compared to other plastic props we've gotten for costumes. He used a scythe once before and it was completely bland, round black shaft handle and a dull grey flat blade. This one had raised rope braid all down the handle (just a part of the plastic, not real rope, but it really added to the look and feel), and the main blade looked so much more interesting.
