Q: Does it fit if you have a front and back screen protector?

All I can tell you is that on mine it was a tight fit without the back and front screen protectors.

Q: Is this usable for the ps vita 2000?

My son used for his PS Vita, not PSP. Worked well

Q: Does this work for the slim?

That's a really good question. I have the older model and the case fits it very well. Since the slim isn't all that slim from the older model, mainly lighter in weight, it should still be a very good fit. I don't think it'll rattle either (the case is a full front and back lock case) since in volume the models seem to differ only by about 7 cubic millimeters. The rest is up to you.

Q: Is the aluminum a skin or actual sheet aluminum?

The skin is supposed to imate aluminum it didn't even fit my vita total piece of crap
