The material of the dress is quite good and a little thick, so won't let you freeze even in early spring or autumn. It's not itchy even on the lines of the sewed ornament around the neck. Sleeves are not too long, so it makes it comfortable to wear. The sleeves are not flickering, sitting tight and it goes for all the curves in the body. The model above does not represent this dress. Its why I attached some better pictures. they were taken by my husband. The model above is taken too big size on, making it look a bit comical. But maybe these pictures will give you an idea of the possibilities for you? As you see on the pictures Ive added the dark blue belt that fits the dress by colour, but this is not a necessity, dress fits your body well without it. The dress is not too long like many other medieval dresses, no stumbling for me. I am 167 cm height and 54kg. The corseted styled adjusters at the back gave us the option to style accordingly. My daughter is a size 6 and we bought size small which was slightly big, however, the drawstring adjusters allowed us to style it perfectly. I would say size small equates to size 10.It is a fabulous garment which gave the true renaciance feel.
