My first time using, but I think it worked
Let me be honest, I have never made pickles before. My family always had "the ladies" who made the best pickles ever, and I was a fool for not paying attention. Anyways, fast forward several decades and my family are huge pickle eaters, as long as they are crunchy. I had a bumper crop of cucumbers this year and decided to give it a go. They turned out pretty good for a first try. I made pint jars and in all my research it said to use 1/8 tsp per jar, so that's what I did. Overall, they were not my ancestors pickles, but they were pretty good and had a fair amount of crunch. I will try it again at a later date.

Really Adds an Extra Crisp
I really like this product for homemade pickling (cucumbers & jalapenos). It didn't come with instructions on the package, so I used way too much the first time. You only need a little less than 1/2 of a teaspoon for a normal grocery sized pickle jar. Otherwise, there'll be an odd aftertaste to whatever it is you're pickling. This product adds an awesome crisp that's equivalent to store bought pickles. Your items will be yummy & addictive!!
