I always hate buying seeds online because half the time nothing grows, but I was very pleasantly surprised by these! I saw new growth popping up within a week and even under my pine trees where I specifically set out to rake and try to get grass to grow I’ve seen significantly more coverage using these seeds! I have a hand spreader that made the dispersal very easy, and to be honest I really didn’t even do the prep work because the tools I had for it broke last season and just didn’t have it in me to buy again yet for the sake of spreading seed that I really didn’t have high hopes for in the first place. Very pleased!

I’m telling you this is the best grass to use. I’ve gotten so much of this stuff and given it away. as a gift it grows great grass it doesn’t have fillers it pure grass it works.. I throw it out there all year long. Even on top of The snow.. I love beautiful grass. I don’t play around..

Planted in 3 different areas at 3 different time. The seed takes 13-14 days to appear. At the spread rate suggested on the bag, the grass that comes up seems a little thin.

Planted this seed in October of 2025 and by November seed started to germinate. After the harsh winter I was thrilled to discover about 90% of the seed had sprouted and began to thicken. Now it's July 2026 and it looks pretty good. Only a couple areas that need thickening.

Almost immediate results! I was not seeing much progress after going through 2 containers of Scott's easy seed and ordered Greenview on a whim. I don't know anything about lawn repair or maintenance but my grass took a beating over the winter and it needed to be remedied. I started noticing growth after a day. Although it is baby fine at first, I'm confident the grass will continue to grow and eventually fill in.

The first 7lb bag was great around 85 % germination. So I purchased another 7lb bag and was disappointed. Only 45% germination. Not so good.

Nice grass seed

Waste of money for me. It grew NOTHING BUT WEEDS. Had some big and small spots to fill in on my backyard and got this brand cause it seemed like a good deal. Been about 3 weeks and it has grown not a single blade of grass but TON of giant weeds in those spots. Now I have to go pull all that out, retill, and get the brand I did when I redid my front yard. May have been more expensive but at least it grew grass I stead of this crap.
