Absolutely Perfect if you don’t have an Anode Rod…
Used this in place of the nylon Plug in my RV water Heater & installed a Braided Hose & shut off valve to simplify Draining the water from the water heater..

RV Water Heater Drain
I replaced my RV water heater plug with one of these 4 years ago. I also attached a hose and valve so I can drain my water heater easily and without tools. After 4 years, my first connector is still going strong and I haven’t had to replace it yet. I was uncertain if the heat would break it down, but it hasn’t yet.

Good fittings, better quality that the picture looks, use Teflon tape on threads before use.
I used these fittings on the inlet and outlet of the water filter for my 5th Wheel RV, works perfect for reducing 3/4" inlet outlet's to 1/2" for units cold and hot water lines. Good fit, don't forget to use plenty of Teflon fitting tape to ensure no leaks and I have none with regular city water pressure to my unit.

Bought for an rv hot water tank to add a drain hose. Fits perfect and seems like it will hold up

Exactly as shown. Since it's nylon, it will endure bending force without cracking at the threads. Theoretically you could color it by boiling in RIT dye.
