Huot 13025 Five-Drawer Drill Bit Dispenser Cabinet for Jobber Length Wire Sizes #1 to #60

I purchased the 5-drawer drill dispenser after much soul searching. For years I kept my drills in the standard drill case. the problem: every time I needed a drill, I had to find the case, in a drawer, under stuff. Also, over the years I had accumulated many drills of certain popular sizes that were scattered in many places. This dispenser was the answer.It is very well made and each compartment can hold numerous drills of the same size. Great product! Now, all drills are in the same place, no matter how many I have.

This is of very nice quality, it has a rugged construction and the drawers slide smoothly on the bearings. Very well printed lettering as well.

These are made in the USA and they are made well. The drawers have nice slides and are labeled for each size. They work great.

I had to return two of these because they were not built square. They were way off and rocked badly when set on a table. After the second one arrived and it was worse than the first one I became very discouraged. I figured I would try it one more time. The third unit was perfect. I would give it five stars if it weren’t for the two defective unit that I had to return in the beginning. It’s a nice product when it’s built square.

While I have go agree with others - These aren't as well built as older cabinets, they're essential for the small shop. Many of the compartments on mine, particularly in wire and letter, are empty, but the essential sizes have a dozen or more of each, and as I need a new size, I'll buy 5-12 bits and fill it up. If you're doing real work, you need more than one bit, because they snap, bend or get dull, which is why the one-per-size indexes are, in my opinion, a waste.

It took a long time to find a 5 draws drill bit organizer but this one works great! We actually need it for bigger drill bits so we popped out some of the inserts in the drawers and glued them deeper in the drawer so I can hold 6" long bits. We now store all bits ranging from 1/16" up to 1".

For the cost I would expect the case to be made of a thicker gauge. The 5 drawers have a partition halfway in depth which really limits the length of bits you can store without modifying. I suppose I’ll get the pleasure of drilling out the rivets that hold the partitions in place now on top of the custom labeling. Yay.

Huot drill drawers were once the envy of machinists everywhere and anyone who had one was looked upon with admiration. This Chinese copy does not represent quality and durability in any way. Yes, it holds drills but the plastic dividers and sloppy drawer slides make it unpleasant to use and embarrassing to own. I'd gladly pay double the price for the solid, heavy ones made 40 years ago.
