Will a 5g unlimited data contract sim work with this ?

A 5G Mobile Broadband Unlimited Data card will yes. The unit is unlocked so will take any micro SIM that is put in it although you may need to add APN details for the Provider your using. Incidentally, if your not in a 5G area yet it will work with 4G using the 5G SIM.

Help plese bought a unlimited pay as you go unlimited 3 sim speeds terrible. on my phone they are not?

Download and use an app called HManager. It's not in the play store but can be found online. It will allow you to manually set 4G bands in order to find the fastest. When left to default my download speed was truly awful around 3mbps, after choosing different bands and settling on 2100 & 2600 I consistently get 50mbps download with upto 80mbps on occasion. Ps - slight changing of router location can drastically affect speeds from my experience in North London with Three and Vodafone.

Do you recommend plugging the Huawei into another wifi router in the home? I have a 2 floor level flat and I'm having much lower speeds in other rooms

You can (just make sure to disable Huawei's own WiFi and set the secondary router so that you don't end in a Double Nat situation). As a secondary solution you may also use your second router as an Access Point.

Can you use EE sim only phone plan with this without hiccups? 4g and 5g plans?
