The only issue that I have is the ease with which the teeth can be deformed, preventing the shears from closing fully.After letting my hair grow out for the first 10 months of the pandemic, I needed a trim. Badly. When unexpectedly successful at cutting my hair with a beard trimmer, I decided to cut my own hair going forward. I invested in a nice set of clippers and then shears for some detail work.I started with these thinning shears. They’re great, extremely effective.I then purchased a pair of regulars shears from the same brand. They came with a case. I stored the thinning shears in the second spot within the case, and then tucked the case inside the top of a case for the clippers, which separated the top and bottom with a layer of foam. When I closed the case, there was slight tension on the zipper. To my dismay, that proved to be enough to deform the teeth of the thinning shears so that they could not close more than halfway.I was able to repair the thinning shears easily enough. I loosened the screw holding the two sides together, pressed gently into he problem teeth, and then tightened the shears back up until they performed as recommended in the accompanying literature.The repair was simple enough, but I was very surprised that the teeth were so malleable. They deformed with no more than the tension exerted by zipper closure of a case.I chalk it up as a defect in my care of the shears rather than in the shears themselves. They have otherwise been lovely. If you purchase these, I am confident that you will be pleased as long as you do a better job than I did with storage.

First of all, the scissors are taking quite a bit of the hair, so you need to be very careful. And second of all, after using them for just several times they stopped closing, so I can’t use them, but the return window was gone, can’t return them now.
