I use mine with an AC Infinity inline fan, and the results have been excellent—it moves air efficiently while staying strong and secure. The four-layer protection (dual aluminum foil, PET, and steel wire spiral) makes this ducting not only flexible but also very durable. It doesn’t tear or kink easily like cheaper ducting, and the extra thickness helps keep it from collapsing under pressure. These ducts are really high quality. They are the size theu claim to be. They are light weight. They expand to the proper size easily, and almost "click" back to smaller lengths instead of becoming a mess. They do have a little thing of tape on each end, that is kind of hard to get off, not that hard, but ya might groan a few times. With the included clamps they form great seals and are easy too attach. They take a beating too... worth the extra few bucks in my mind. I have horror stories about lesser flexible ducts.

As always with ac infinity the quality is next to none.

I've had a couple of these 8" ducts in use for over a month, which have been repositioned repeatedly while handling nonstop blower output, and have had no problems so far. The multiple layers and the opaque black outside are well-suited for maintaining light discipline for plants that require it. The ductility is par for these kinds of ducts but it does feel more resilient than what you might pick up for your dryer. The ends have zero additional tolerance so getting then over the rim of a duct inlet or blower fan sucks, but that's pretty typical for flexible ducts. Recommended. It seems better quality than the average flexible duct and I don't think it costs too much more, although I didn't comparison shop. If you can get one with equal quality and ends that expand slightly to reduce the pain of getting them attached, I'd go that route, but this duct is probably still going to be better than most.

This worked great routing our wood stove heat up through the floor. Helped immensely with our heating bill.

Metal dryer vent from Lowe's was very flimsy and tore easily causing dryer to not dry well. I came on Amazon to find a replacement and there are tons of Chinese items. I ended up checking out virtually all of the options and landed on one that also had a coating on the outside to make it stronger. I can say that the plastic coating does exactly that: it helps control the hose while installing, has a good feel, and is sealed properly around the vent. My item came properly sized and it fit around both hose hookups. You'll notice reviews saying some of the hoses out there are too small which renders it unusable. Also I recommend getting clamps like the one below or something similar which makes installing the hose WAY easier and the cost of the clamp is less as well. -POWERTEC 70120 4 Inch Key Hose Clamp

Acostumbrado a comprar anteriormente muchos de lps productos Ac Infinity me ha sorprendido la austera presentación del conducto..los anteriores siempre fueron presentados en la linea de ac infinity, caja impresa con el producto y otro detalles muy cuidados como este fabricante nos tiene acostumbrados...adjunto dos imagenes para demostrar lo anteriormente descrito..en una veras dos cajas que incluian el mismo conducto de 6" recibido hoy en el empaque que muestro en ña segunda fotografia...esto me puede hacer dudar esta vez de la autencidad del producto.
