Great for testing circuits

If you truly need the full 36" you better get a different cable - these are only 33.25" from tip of the alligator clip to the tip of the banana plug. The resistance seems a bit high (0.06) for 3' of 18AWG but is fine for my application. (I pretty much take it for granted that any wire I get through Amazon will have an exaggerated AWG rating). So, 1 star off for those. Other than that, I really like these. The plugs fit snuggly and the clips grip tightly. The cable is nice and flexible without getting tangled.

The alligator clips are flimsy and have poor grip on small wires, pins etc.

I bought these back in 2020 during the pandemic so students could perform experiments at home during the pandemic. They were returned and are now see duty in our labs. They have held up quite well. Of the sixty or so we purchase we may have had one failure, and that probably due to a student error. Highly recommended.

These test leads appear to be reasonably well made. The alligator clip is soldered to the wire, and the banana plug strain relief is molded on. Chinese banana plugs often seem to be made with a "swivel" feature where the spring portion is free to rotate on a center shaft. This can create an electrically "noisy" (intermittent) connection if tolerances are not extremely tight. While these test leads do use this design, they do not seem as wobbly as other banana plugs, so they are better than average. Don't expect miracles for the price, but these are better than many of their competitors.

These work well with the eq3 if you're reconditioning hybrid battery cells. I'm using them right now. I wish the wires were a little bit longer but they will do just fine
