On a full charge, they last about 4.5 hours. You also get a warning when the charge is low. Charging is super easy. Place them in the case and they'll start charging. Range is good. Sound didn't cut off when I went to different rooms in the house with my phone in the living room. They are also comfortable to wear. I wanted something that could hold a water bottle, collapsible water bowl, dog treats, poo bags, my iPhone and keys, and occasionally other things like a tennis ball or lightweight nylon anorak. But I wanted the bag to be smaller than the typical hiking waist pack, which just feels too bulky for a daily walk.This works well. I can cram a rolled-up LLBean nylon anorak in the main compartment, there's a clip for my keys in the 2nd pocket, where I also carry poo bags and treats, and my iPhone goes in the outside front pocket. From the picture, I thought the outside pocket was smaller than it is. But it's not just the brightly colored area where the zipper is, it goes all the way to the edges of the pack, making it quite roomy. The cinch strap for the bottle is nice, keeping the bottle nice and secure and cinching the pack to a more compact size if I'm not carrying a bottle. The padded back panel is comfortable.
