4 years later, best jacket ever
This has been the most versatile, durable and effective jacket I’ve ever worn. I’ve used it all around the world, in climates ranging from rainforest to sub-zero snow. It zips out under the arms in warm weather, making it breathable, and is a perfect outer shell when layering in the cold. Above all, it is water proof (not just water resistant), and it stays that way for years. I can wear it almost year round, as a light windbreaker or a fog/rain/sleet/snow jacket. Well done, Columbia!

Solid Windbreaker, But More Jacket Than I needed
I was looking for a windbreaker that had venting and was packable for mountain bike rides. The jacket was a little bit thicker than I was expecting, which really isn't a fault, but it resulted in taking up a little more space even when packed compared to the cheapy one I currently use. I would have kept it if I didn't already have a dedicated windbreaker/rain jacket for non-riding use because I absolutely loved how it fit (I might even end up buying it again down the road).Columbia typically runs large from my experience with the brand, and I sometimes need to order a Tall because my arms are long and sleeves can sometimes come up short. I'm 6' and 205 lbs and athletic build, and the Large fit perfect. Sleeves were at the right length. If you plan on layering, I would consider going up one size, as it is more fitted jacket,

Works Great
Very lightweight but completely waterproof. Zippered pockets are good size and the hood is deep and easily worn over another jacket.

Liked the weather proof one more
We bought two Columbia rain jackets. This one was too swishy sounding and $30 more expensive. We liLed the weather proof one better.

Excellent.
Excellent jacket, haven't tried it in the rain yet. I always wear L size, so I bought L which fits perfect (height 176 cm, weight 83 Kg). If you are slim and like fitted clothes you can buy one size smaller than usual, otherwise you should buy your regular size. Is not too loose but it has enough room for a sweater.I would definetly buy it again.UPDATE: I tried it many times in the rain and it keeps me dry. The zips under the sleeves (underarm vents) are perfect to wear it in hot days, or during long walks. It looks very good too. The chin protector in the zip is great too. I would definetly buy it again. Recommended.

Lightweight and rainproof
This jacket is perfect for when it windy or raining but still warm. It doesn't get to hot, feels comfortable and looks great. It also has plenty of hidden pockets and vents.

Excellent waterproof jacket
I've used this jacket for over a year already and I must say that I'm extremely satisfied with it. It's perfectly waterproof, packs down to a small size and on top of that it looks great enough to wear even as casual clothing, that way I don't have to switch jackets that often in a climate where I can't just know when it's gonna start raining again. Oh, and it dries fast.I see some people saying that this jacket is like a "plastic bag". I have yet to hear of waterproof cotton. Think a little before complaining about a product?

Quintessential Rain Jacket
Light with decent ventilation. Zippers are solid and overall just plain works.
