fellow overweight gamers, can you sit in the chair without feeling the wood/metal innards or are the cushions good? (325lbs and 6"1 here)

I have a family member who is almost exactly your size. They don't find the chair as comfortable as I do. It's too narrow and short for them. Although, the cushions are plenty thick for them. I was going to get one of these for them, but opted for a wider chair.
