TS140 Deluxe 140ft Top-Spinner 4-Arm Umbrella Dryer

We were traveling in Australia and noticed that these are widely in use; the family we stayed with in Perth use it almost exclusively, only resorting to their machine dryer when the weather is inclement. Upon returning home, we ordered the Breezecatcher TS4-140. Excellent clothes line! It’s out in the backyard right now, loaded up with laundry, spinning in the breeze. More people need to use clothes lines, especially those who live in mild climates. Your clothes will last longer, smell fresher, and you will save $$$ on your energy bill! Great product, built to last!

I have 2 of these.1) The spinning part has plastic washers that wear out. quickly. When that happens the upper part of the pole starts grinding the lower part causing it to mushroom so you can't collapse the unit.2. If you try to repair the above problem you'll see the manufacturer uses steel screws to secure aluminum poles and they get fused over time. So you can't repair / replace the washers.

Just purchased and installing our Breezecatcher today. I ordered based on the description, reviews, the fact the company is based out of my home state of Michigan and established in Ireland (with a name like Kelly, gotta love the Irish!). Totally an emotional purchase! I live in Florida now and needed a clothesline to withstand Florida weather, wind and salt. It seems well built but time will tell. I plan on keeping the removable part in my garage when not in use to prolong life. There is also a 10 year warranty, according to the website. (I will keep my receipt). I am giving it four stars because in the description it states, "They use the highest quality materials and depend on experts, not machines, to assemble their products". On the box is states "made in China". I was a bit disappointed because I though it was either made in Michigan (USA) or Ireland. So I have reservations about material quality and the expert! The Breezercatcher TS4-140 is ultra fab so very easy to set up and when the clothes are dry it is easy to let it drop down. Sounds crazy but the clothes lines moves with the smallest of breezes and makes hanging the laundry so easy. Very sturdy and even stands up to our fifty per mile hollers out here in Nevada.

I've had this clothesline for 3 years now and it's not holding up that great at all.First off, when it was delivered it was pretty banged up. When I called the company they didnt seem to concerned and mailed me the parts that needed replacing.Since having it I've had to replace other parts that have stopped moving properly. At one point the Breeze Catcher company stopped returning my calls/emails. Not professional at all.3 years later it is VERY difficult to lower and raise. The sliding parts are scratching and digging into each other.If you don't plan on raising and lowering this clothesline and just leaving it setup all year round than it is suitable. Otherwise I'm very frustrated.

The best clothes line EVER! And I have gone through a few! Sturdy and spins in the wind so it doesn't just bend over and break! Love IRISH ingenuity!

Best outdoor umbrella clothesline - well worth the money - an investment for saving on future electric bills - very well made and easy to install
