Very comfortable seat
I ordered this for my wife's beach cruiser bike. Her biggest issue when going on long bike rides was that the seat that came with it was uncomfortable. Having gone through a quest to find the right mountain bike saddle, I knew that not all seats are created equal, but since we don't have a bike shop nearby I was going to have to rely more on customer reviews. So I searched on Amazon and read up on a few different seats, but this was the one that I felt got the most glowing reviews, especially for people who are riding bikes like my wife's - just a simple cruiser for easy riding. If you're on a mountain or road bike this seat probably won't be your first choice... but then again if you're on one of those you're probably not reading this. But for a relaxing bike ride on a cruiser, this seat has been perfect. Installation was easy, I only needed a small crescent wrench to put it on and adjust it. Once it was on my wife took it out for a spin. Me being me, after about 5 minutes I wanted a full product update. She just shrugged and said it was better than her old seat, at least she thought so, but maybe we could find a pad for it to make it even more comfortable. Hmm, not the glowing review I expected, but having experience riding on the wrong saddle for too long, I knew that sometimes it takes a few days for our rear ends to get over the punishment from having the wrong support. A couple of days later she and my daughter went on a long bike ride while I was at work. Her first words to me were that her seat was incredible (ah, there's that glowing review!) and that she was comfortable the entire way. Usually within about 1/2 mile or so, her old seat began getting uncomfortable, but on this seat she rode an entire 4 mile trip without any discomfort whatsoever. She said it felt like she could have easily kept going without any discomfort, it was that comfortable - no additional pad needed! She really loves going for bike rides now... it's amazing what being able to ride comfortably can do to really improve your enjoyment of a good old bike ride. If you're looking for a comfortable wide-style bike saddle, this is a solid bet. For the price especially, you're going to find it hard to beat.

Very comfortable
So freaking comfortable, huge improvement over my stock Schwinn seat.

GREAT PRODUCT.
This bicycle seat is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better and forgiving one than the one that came on the bike. I probably wont be ridding any marathons w/ this seat but who am i kidding i would not be doing that anyways. I am 6-1 & 375 lbs. I bought a bike to try and get a little more active but could not stand to ride the darn thing because it hurt every time i got on it. The traditional bike seat is not giving or forgiving in any way. I am firmly under the belief that the bicycle seat was initially invented as a medieval torture device and got placed on the bicycle as some sick joke....... Anyways, I have tried a few bicycle seats now trying to find something that would work and this seat has been the best all around seat in my opinion. Now don't take that to mean the most comfortable. Schwinn also makes a No Pressure Bicycle Seat. I'n my opinion that was the most comfortable one i tried out but it was hard to get used to because it was flatter and did not have the piece that goes between your legs. I know your thinking what is wrong with that???? Well i will tell you. You use your legs a lot more than you think for leaning & turning when ridding a bicycle and with this seat that is close to impossible since there is nothing to grip with your legs. In closing i would like to say i use both seats i have mentioned in this review and they are both equally good depending on the ridding you are going to do. If i am ridding around the neighborhood, down the road, or on the sidewalk i like to use the SCHWINN NO PRESSURE, but if i am ridding on a trail, off road, or up and down any crazy inclines i would prefer the SCHWINN QUILTED WIDE CRUISER SADDLE. Schwinn No Pressure Bicycle Seat- Good for slow easy ridding. Schwinn Quilted Wide Cruiser Saddle- Good for more aggressive ridding. Bicycle Seat that comes with your bike- Good for prostate exam, but floss, or maybe person weighing under 80 lbs.

Fantastic! (w/caution message)
I love it! It’s a little goofy on my Co-Op DRT 1.1 mountain bike but it feels fantastic! Note: Something that wasn’t clear and I didn’t realize because I’m new is that if you take the seat post bracket off, you CAN mount it on the newer rail-style seat posts. IMPORTANT: You MUST tighten the nuts down further, I think that’s why so many people have the springs pop off. Mine was less than flush with the nut on one side and barely sticking out on the other. I could see these coming off with vibration if that Loctite isn’t fully engaged with the threads.

So much better then those skinny seats.
I just got this in the mail yesterday put it right on my wife's New Used bike its like new but the seat hurt her behind so I Went shopping in Amazon I found this the price looked good so I read a whole lot of reviews The Only one that confirmed me was the one about how the seat cover is stapled to the plastic resion seat so I looked at the one on it it was on the same way from the factory so that took care of that objection the only other complaint was the seat will get wet IF rained on that's The same thing that would happen to my patio chairs that's why I don't leave them out side the same will be with the bike besides if you leave it in the rain often your going to have worse problems than just a wet seat. I will update my review if I have any problems I don't for see any anb The install was very easy. The only thing I ran into wàs the bike IT self used metric nuts to lift the seat Post I have a complete set of metric sockets so it was not a problem For me you can check A head Of time the seat uses normal nuts that The right size wrech or socket will work just fine so check ahead of time IF your bike uses metric or standard if I'm Right the seat used 9/16 th socket but don't quote me on it only 90% sure. I used that size on something The bike is metric so the Only other thing wàs The old seat and I'm almost sure they are the same size on both seats. Just about positive AS I think about IT now good. Luck just follow the install directions from the other reviews they are correct and simple.don't waste your money on a expensive seat for no reason unless there is some Brand you have to have there is no reason to waste your money all the reviews are 5 Stars and The Only to negative Feedback's I addressed And they are not a problem check out your bike's seat how is the seat cover attached besides I don't think I want a metal seat if they sell one and how are they going to attach it better than IT is now and I think The purpose Of this seat is comfort not built LIKE fort Knox. LOL I think that covers IT all.

FINALLY
I have FINALLY found a bike seat I can use. This is an absolute joy to sit on. I almost never rode my bike because my sit bones would hurt so badly for days and days afterwards. Once my 4 year old started riding a two wheel bike I knew I had to get a better seat so I could ride with her. I bought a gel seat cover And it did nothing for my discomfort. I could ride maybe 5 minutes and I was in severe pain. I did a little bit of research and found this bike seat. I took a chance. Not really having much hope. My husband installed it on my bike in less than 2 minutes. I sat down and was instantly relieved! That first day I rode for a full hour with almost no pain!! I so look forward to bike riding now that I have this seat. It's such a joy to be able to bike with my family.

Bought this to replace an awful, hard, skinny mountain bike seat! Would it work?
This seat isn’t the best, nor the worst. I’d honestly rate this 3.5 stars. I’m stuck in the middle. I expected more comfort. I was on the fence.. return or not return? Here’s the story. My husband bought me a new bicycle for spring. I ordered one here, but delivery was a nightmare, damages occurred, so we got one that came assembled elsewhere. It’s a mountain bike, and the seat was insanely narrow and uncomfortable to sit on. I literally had bruising on my upper thighs and pain ‘down under’, after one day of use with my kids. I have a cruiser, but I wanted a mountain bike for camp trails, greater speed, and to also pull my huskies using the bike tow leash I have. You can’t use that with a cruiser bike. You need something more rugged. Despite its good looks, the seat that came with that bike, it HAD to go! It was God awful. This seat seemingly has a gazillion reviews, many positives, and it fit the bill, matched my bike and would allow me to sit up straighter, which is what I want. Like a hybrid mountain bike/ cruiser in one. Cruisers sit you upright and are less taxing on bad backs like my own. So, the verdict? It DID fit my mountain bike. That was a plus, because that I was uncertain about. Do i slide a bit forward using this seat? A bit. The front piece AKA ‘the bulge’ in front of the seat makes it a bit uncomfortable ‘down under’, but not close to as bad as the other mountain bike seat was. I honestly wish it wasn’t there. I don’t know why it’s there. I hope I can raise up the handle bars a bit so it helps with that issue. I’m not sure if that would still be an issue on a cruiser bike, but it might since none of my cruisers ever had that bulge there at the seat like that. I’d think for a boy that would be even less comfortable, but who knows? That’s purely speculation. In conclusion, the bike seat is attractive against the white color of my new bike. It’s wider to sit on and slightly softer. Not as soft as expected though. I was thinking it would be like a real soft, memory foam feeling fit, but it’s not nearly as comfy as that. I don’t know if this seat has memory foam in it. It’s possible, but if so, I really don’t feel that kind of comfort, like a cozy pair of slippers that hug your feet with an insane amount of comfort. This, by far, isn’t that kind of comfort, but a step up from a rock hard seat, it most certainly is, and the wide bottom on a mountain bike is a pretty cool option. I’ve gotten no bruising since, which is telling. That was just awful without it. So yeah, I do like this seat, but it’s not nearly as good / comfortable, as my expensive cruiser bike seats are. I guess since I have those to compare them too, I could be slightly bias. Maybe if I didn’t have that to compare it to, I’d be a bit more impressed by this seat, but it’s OK! It keeps me safe down below, and hopefully, if I can lift the handlebars, I’ll be even more comfortable. Better with than with the former. That’s for darned sure. I hope you found my review to be helpful :)). *ps- the seat is a Schwinn seat and the bike is of that same brand- just for reference.*

Excellent product
Cushions well. Be sure to use a 22.2mm diameter seatpost. For me I added a suspension seatpost from Zoom and it works really well. Aesthetically it could look better without the White rib across the seat.
