Mary had a special job to do, to be the living Ark of the Covenant, so God preserved her from original sin in preparation for her job of being Jesus’ mother.  Mary always points to the wonderful things God does.

**Q: Has the gold pendent ever tarnished?**
A: I've taken two shows with it on and have slept a few days with it on too. Never tarnished with me. I would recommend wiping it with gold cleaner every month and letting it completely dry before putting it away. I now take mine off every night just to be safe but this necklace is pretty good quality.
