desertcart.com: Aurisonics ASG-1PLUS Digital Hybrid In-Ear Monitor Headphones in Polished Black : Electronics Review: ASG 1 Plus rocks - This simple 1 BA/ 1 dynamic hybrid is stellar sounding, and probably the darling of the Aurisonics line-up. Compared to the 2.5, it is much less focused on thick mid-bass (with the 2.5's dial closed all the way even), and cleaner sub-bass instead. This initially gives the impression of not having nearly the bass of the 2.5, but where bass goes low into the sub region, it hits just about as low. And there's simply no overhang into the midrange. Enjoyed by itself, the 2.5 gives the impression of clean bass with awesome detail, imaging, and huge spatial portrayal... but when listened to along with the 1 Plus, it becomes obvious how murky and muddled it is in comparison. The 1 Plus is significantly more open, detailed, layered, and neutral than the 2.5. The 1 Plus betters my Parterre just about in all regards, which is a $1K IEM. And I remember liking the Parterre better than the famed LAB 1.... a $1600 phone. So there's the company it keeps. I'm mightily impressed.
