Love these! They lock in a dance bun like magic. Price was more than I wanted to spend, but it's worth it. DO NOT buy the cheap knock offs!! I made that mistake and the little balls at the ends of the off brands make it impossible to remove without ripping hair out. These kitsch ones are smooth and easy to remove with no screams attached lol the kept my guard girls hair I'm perfect place. And they are good for thick or thin hair. Worth it!!

Where has this gadget been all my life? I have never been able to get my hair in a decent looking bun. When I did finally manage to get it up off my neck, the weight of it pulled and gave me a head ache and an hour later, half my hair had fallen out and was hanging in my face. These little things are miracle workers. They are about three inches long (not like the “minis” sold by the other company) so they go almost completely through the bun, to give great hold without sticking out and showing on the other side. And somehow, this keeps the weight off the hair roots, so I can wear these all day with no head ache. And they stay in all day! By the end of the day I do have a few wispies but the bun is intact until I take it down. And take down is easy. I have been using these on an almost daily basis for 6 weeks, and they have never tangled or pulled my hair when removed. My hair is below my collar bone and very thick. One package was not enough to hold all my hair; while it stayed up all day, the ends were sticking out after about half an hour. So, I ordered a second package, and problem solved.

I'm in love! I have gotten to a point in my life where using a hairtie for my bun gives me the worst headache and doesn't keep my hair in place. These spiral Bobby pins are the best! I was blown away that these held up my thick, long hair all day even lasting through a jog! No headache and no pulling. Very easy to use, just place where you want to hold down your bun or updo, twist in one way, and when you are ready to remove just twist out the opposite way. I wish I knew about these years ago! Kitsch is my favorite hair accessory brand and these are my new fav!!!!!

I have fine, fairly thin hair and these hold my hair up very nicely without pulling, breakage, or tangling. They also let me have a loose enough messy bun that it looks like I have more hair than I really do! When using usual hair ties, you can't really keep your hair loose and comfortable and expect it to stay up. I love these so much.

These work great on my long thick hair. If I get it just right, I can have a secure bun using only one.

I was skeptical at first because I normally use huge hair clips and Bobby pins for buns, but this was surprisingly was able to hold up a lot of hair. For such a small unique pin, it’s hardy, lightweight and made of sturdy material. I only needed one pin for a small chignon, and it that pin lasted me throw out the day! Very affordable since you get 3 pins per pack and most big buns seem to require two pins only. Great for a large diversity of hairstyles, and is very discrete so my buns look naturally lifted.

Wow. Just… wow. I can’t believe I’ve never seen these before now (and I’m 43). These little things are amazing. I have 3c type curly (wavy if you brush it, curly if you scrunch it) hair so getting it up into a bun is something of a challenge- particularly when it’s curls. (Just to give you an idea if I brush it out and there’s any humidity my husband says I look like a member of the lion King cast. So getting it up without looking like I have a crazy mane is really nice.) I have been using these for about 6 weeks and I’m beyond impressed. My hair is about 4 inches below the shoulder and somewhat thinning due to perimenopause. I started using these to try to protect my hair from further damage and breakage from rubber bands. Also, being in my 40s I feel a little bit silly with little-girl looking hair elastics in my hair. These are a great! They are for more stable to create a bun or an updo with and they look much more sophisticated. I have even been using them in my seven-year-old daughter’s hair to make a bun for school. She has straight hair that is thin and these are the only thing I’ve ever found that will keep a bun in all day long while plays soccer at recess and does PE. I can do a really pretty updo with these in just a minute or two and it looks great. I usually use about three of them at different angles. They screw in and screw out of your bun/updo without pulling or breaking your hair. I’ve also found their very convenient to throw a couple in my purse or my pocket because they’re so small and lightweight. I like the fact that they are colored brown so that they match my hair and I end up having a really polished look. I only wish I had found these years ago when I was a police officer and I had to have a gun all the time for work. They would’ve been such a lifesaver to keep it in place during a 10 or 12 hour shift, much more comfortably than a tight hairband pulling on your hair. I don’t even need to put an elastic in to keep my gun in place with these! These are what convinced me to become a kitsch customer- and I’ve been happy with all the products I have bought since then from them. Everyone of them has been quality from the solid shampoo and conditioner to the drainage trays to hold them to the air dry curl cream. Thanks for such a great brand!

These are so-so for me. I have long, very thick hair. These do not keep it up without it being secured with a hair tie first. They do make the bun around it look cute, but for the price of two dollars each, absolutely not worth it.

These are fantastic. Easy to use and hold your bun in place.

hace muchos años había tenido ya un set de estos espirales, de otra marca obviamente, y son maravillosos, ya no los había vuelto a encontrar, te detienen muy bien los chongos y no te maltratan el cabello, los recomiendo ampliamente, aunque me hubiera gustado que vinieran 4, para que fueran sets de 2 piezas ya que con 2 piezas tienes un soporte más que suficiente.
