Tula Pink 6 inch Stiletto

The tip comes loose a lot and I constantly have to retighten. It did roll off my table once and the tip bent.

Beautiful and brilliantly designed (screw concealed) stiletto/awl. Really sturdy, rugged feeling with a gorgeous rainbow finish. A lovely addition to my crafting supplies.

I've tried a few different "stiletto" products and like this one the best. The tip will screw off so that you can turn it and then enclose it in the handle. However I've found that, when in use, the tip does not stay tight into the handle, comes loose very easily, so that I have to continually re-tighten it. Otherwise it works fine, has a very fine tip, to easily guide the fabric under the presser foot.

I have other stiletto products but so far am liking this one better than others. It is a little spendy but seems to be well made with a nice weight to it. Time will tell if it turns out to be a good choice but so far so good.

I have been sewing all my life, but never even knew something like this existed. I saw one in use on a You Tube video and ordered it! I chose this one over the others because the color looks pretty...it is a great and handy tool. I like that the sharp end screws off and stores inside itself so that it is safe when not in use. I reach for it a lot while sewing. I would highly recommend it.

I love how skinny it is and it’s so pretty. The sharp tip has bent several times, however, and is no match against the throatplate of my sewing machine as I feed little quilting pieces through. I’d give 5 stars if the tip was stronger, it’s a unique and excellent tool. It does require some sharps safety!

The stiletto is gorgeous rainbow finish, and it works as it should and is super handy. Unfortunately it's not super comfortable to hold (same feel as an exacto knife with the bumpy handle) and the tip doesn't stay tightly screwed in and constantly needs to be tightened. I am going to try to wrap the threads with some teflon tape and see if that helps.

This works great for sewing or helping to pull the paper out of EPP. The negative reviews are because they think the tip broke off but it is a safety mechanism. The point unscrews and it flips to store the sharpness inside the handle. When it arrives you just unscrew it and flip it around to expose the sharp point. It looks great too!
