My fine hair is colored and yet remains resistant to curls, which is why I went with an alkaline perm. I did a pyramid wrap (used to be called spiral) using gray and white rollers for a decent curl.When I washed my hair, I used a clarifying shampoo to remove styling products, conditioner, etc that would have caused the perm to not take properly.It took out very little of the color and left it soft and curly. Now, if I could get a high dollar cut I could really look like a million bucks!
