I'm an awkward size - 5.5 & on the wider side! Should I get the 3-5 or would the 6-8s be too big?

They quit big. So I would recommend to get 3-5

I bought theses socks for my son who said he loved the cushion foot and he wears them with his work boots all day but they are not steel toe caps

I’m a size 6, I usually find size 6-8 a little loose, for a snug fit should I go for 3-5 or 6-8

I think they are a snug fit also as I'm a 3.5 and the 3 to 5 fit me well. I'd suggest you choose 6 to 8.

Hi, I'm not really sure, but it could be as simple as 'Mens Outdoor x 6 pairs'. I have the plain black and it's the best suggestion I can offer. These are great socks, really comfortable, supportive and cushioning. Make sure you order a big enough size though. I'm a 9, standard width and bought the 9-11, they are a very tight fit on me, but so comfortable once they're on. This may not really answer your question, but I hope it's still helpful.

Comfortable and nice and thick

I'm very happy with how soft/thick and comfortable these socks are. I've been wearing them for around 5 months now and there are absolutely no signs of wear or holes in any seams. The one downside (thus the 4 stars), they are a little on the tight side around my shins/calves. I'm a size 10, so ordered the 9-11s. I have pretty average-sized calves and all my other socks I have fit fine, so this isn't a case of me having calves like Jack Grealish. They're by no means uncomfortably tight, but when I take them off there is a noticeable impression on my shins/claves (sock line and weave). They arrived with correct labelling, so I can only assume that they just come up a little smaller/tighter. I'll definitely buy again, but will size up next time.

Will last you years

I've been wearing Coskefy sport ankle socks every day for years not a single one has a whole in them, good as the day I got them so picking up the regular socks from them was the first choice for me. I'd recommend them for quality and comfort.

Great but sizing is out

Firstly im a woman with a size 8 foot so choose to go up a size to the 9-11 and im glad i did as not overly generous in size, that said the socks are nice warm and comfy and what i like is the top of the sock is real stretchy which is great for me as i work nights and on my feet alot so do tend to get slightly swollen ankles but these socks dont dig in, pleased with my purchase.

Put a sock in it.

After some long walks around 10 miles. I do feel these make my feet sweat a little bit more. I tried some more expensive wool socks. They suit my feet and walking boots much better These socks keep your feet warm. Not the thickest of socks to protect from rubbing. They're alright overall.
