Yes. It melts easily. Like all plant butters, it doesn't quite mix/blend as well as regular butter, but it melts well enough. You just might need to stir it more with the marshmallows than regular butter. Should still turn out fine.

I don't see why not. Melts very nicely. I've only used it to cook just egg or saute veggies in a pan.
