Perfect after surgery recovery
I'm a 2X breast cancer survivor and have had 5 breast surgeries (among other surgeries). I say that so it's understood that I have had to wear my fair share of compression garmets. I originally bought this for use after diep flap surgery (breast surgery #4) but it didn't seem right when I attempted to put it on. It seemed too small and too hard to put on. I felt it would have hurt the healing incisions on my stomach just trying to get it on. Also those incisions required daily care and i had drains to deal with at first. Fast forward 3 months later to my revision surgery and it is perfect. This surgery involved fat graphing to the breast using fat liposuctioned from the abdomen and saddlebag area. 1 day after surgery I am comfortable and i feel well compressed in my whole abdomen area (I have a long torso). Going to the bathroom hasn't been too bad either. I just unhook the clasps and go. I have been hooking only 2 of the 3 clasps down there. The only thing that makes it a little difficult for me is I don't have all of my arm range of motion from prior surgeries but I still make it work. After using the restroom, I pull the back flap forward as much as I can and then hook it to the front flap. With all my other compression garmets usually I become uncomfortable somewhere or I don't feel properly compressed where I need to be. A couple of my good ones seem to cut into the top of my inner thigh after a few hours. This one has been so comfortable. The nurse told me to bring my compression garmet to surgery and they will put it on me afterwards. So I woke up from surgery with this garmet on yesterday morning. I noticed the right side shoulder strap was on twisted on both my compression garmet and bra (most of the work was done on the right side). I was starting to correct it and straighten them out but thought it might have been done on purpose so I left it that way. After seeing some of the comments complaining about straps cutting into their shoulder, im starting to think it's why they did my straps this way. The whole strap cannot cut into my shoulder now. I don't know for sure if that's why they twisted those straps but i thought i'd pass it along in hopes that it helps someone else with that issue. Before and after diep flap surgery I was 5'6 and 181 pounds. My measurements before yesterday's revision surgery was 40-35-43. I was on the border of both size large and XL but I'm really glad I had the large for this surgery. Luckily it was a perfect fit but if it was any tighter it wouldn't have worked. I hardly ever write reviews but as I'm sitting here comfortably 1 day after surgery (with nothing else to do lol) I felt i should share my experience with this garmet since it's not rated 5 stars. That held me back from purchasing it for months and then when I did it wasn't right for the first surgery 3 months ago but it was perfect for this surgery. I'm glad i didn't rate this back then. Sometimes a garmet isn't the right one for certain situations but it doesn't mean it isn't perfect for others. If after washing and wearing this again it holds up well, I will be purchasing another one. As of now this is a 5 star item for me

Pleasantly Surprised! Great Shapewear for the Price!
I’m 5’4” and about 180 lbs, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the SHAPERX Women’s Fajas Colombianas shapewear! I honestly didn’t have high expectations because of the affordable price, but it definitely did the job. It fit comfortably, provided great shaping and support, and helped smooth everything out without feeling impossible to wear. For the price, I think it’s a great value and I’m very happy with my purchase!

It's supportive and comfortable, but you may want to size down to get that snatched waist.
Recovering from bi-lateral with DIEP-flap reconstruction and looking for post-surgery garments for Stage 2 & 3 & beyond for support and shaping. Pros: It's comfortable, though I probably could have sized down, so FYI on the sizing chart, I felt it ran a bit large (got 3xl as per chart, but definitely could go down a size). But it did the job, was a bit softer/looser than the compression belt given by the hospital, which was somewhat of a relief in that way, yet still felt very supported. It held my bandages in well (I still have a couple of places I need them). I was able to use it for sleeping, which was nice. Also like that I was able to wear my own cotton bra with it. Overall it does the job. Great tummy control and a feelinf of support and security for me while still being comfortable. Cons: I don't care for the straps, with a bra it's just too many straps for me. Also when I went for my long daily walk, the crotch area where the "lace" is rubbed against the bend in my thighs and I could feel the hooks there as well, which was irritating. The "lace" itself is actually where they have silicon to help make it stay on your legs/butt area, but for me it was uncomfortable. I'm allergic to latex so that may be it. That all being said, it did the job well and for sleeping in or just hanging around the house or going somewhere wher you're not moving a lot, it works. However, there's others I like better, especially those without straps.

Love it
Definitely worth the money. The price is amazing. I got the black color I feel as though it’s a little more versatile like that. I wish the bottom part was a zipper instead of the clips. Other than that it’s wonderful. It’s nice and thick, but not so thick you can make it out with skin tight clothes on. I love the rubber on the bottom so it keeps the shorts from rising. I’ve enjoyed wearing it thus far and see myself continuing to wear it.

High quality, fits beautiful, feels very comfortable.
I am 5'4, 135lbs, waist 28", size S: bought an XS THE GOOD: Fits nice and snatched. Very sturdy outter material and the inner material is smooth and silky texture, i felt my ribs being compressed as intended and gave my waist a nicer silhouette. I had no problems putting it on nor using the bathroom. It feels snatched but very very comfortable. THE UNFORTUNATE: I have thick thighs and a slightly larger butt, the shaper created a shape distortion on my butt, a big lump on the hip back sides and flattened the front area beneath the hips where the leg starts. Making this shaper best suitable for wearing with lose skirts and flared dresses. Things i don't use often. If you're not very thick from the waist down, this is a excelente choice for you. It is high quality and fits beautifully

Highly recommend!
I wear 3XL shirts and size 18-20 in pants. I ordered an XL because I wanted it to suck everything in lol it was a little bit of a struggle to get on (not that hard. I want out of breath or anything lol), but I got it and it really helped to camouflage my apron belly. This will definitely suffice until I can get surgery. It’s super stretchy but also holds things in place well (as you can see) and it’s soft and sort of feels like satin, so it’s easy to slip on a bandage dress over, which is also really tight and hard to get on, but easier to get on wearing this. Very slimming effect. I’m happy with this purchase.

It's SUPPOSED to be tight
Y'all when I tell you I took this out of the package and laughed... there was NO WAY this thing was going to fit onto my body, or I was going to tear every seam, hook, and break the zipper trying... Alas! A little wiggling, some cursing of having long nails, and strategic breathing later and BAM! My leggings are about slip off my body! I can't wait to get out my old favorite jeans!! Now, I am writing this review approximately 10 minutes later so take it with a grain of salt, but I'm not uncomfortable. Also, the girls seem to sit back where they did a decade ago. My posture is better because I am pretty snug and CANNOT sit poorly, but not in a bad way. Just in a noticeable way. Now, all of the details you ladies shaped like me want to read in the reviews... I purchased a medium on a hope and a prayer. I'm 5'3, 165lbs, short torso, and all of my size is from my waist down. 41in hips, 30in waist... it IS a little snug on my legs, and despite having a short torso I have the hooks between my legs on the loosest option to accommodate the booty. It does have that rubbery stuff on the inside of the leg seam to keep from rolling up and I pulled on leggings and it actually worked! Absolutely no wedgies or leg openings to tug on! I do absolutely recommend staying true to the size chart provided- I almost ordered a large but reminded myself it is SUPPOSED to be tight otherwise it isn't doing its job and is just another useless garment. Now, I can't say I'd be comfortable all day, but its still new and nowhere near as noticeable as I'd anticipated.

So great, comfortable and affordable!!
Ive shopped with this company before and still have my previous one from years ago. Only thing is I wanted one that doesn't have a thong style (not into wearing those as I’ve aged). I recently was bedridden and ended up putting on quite a bit of weight. Now that I am back at work my uniforms dont fit so well and wanted something to help me to feel comfortable in my own skin while I work on getting the weight back off. ShaperX did NOT disappoint! Its comfy and it slims me just enough to feel comfortable. I have gained a big apron belly and I like how it holds me in. I really like the combo of eye hook clasps and zipper. The zipper causes it not to show through my clothes so obviously. It’s breathable and I can move AND breathe at the same time, lol. I actually bought a different one that was more expensive and I like this one MUCH BETTER!!! The only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars is the eye hook clasps at the crotch. If it would have had a zipper instead it would be perfect. Ppl who typically wear shapewear are gonna struggle trying to see down there to clasp things back together (tee hee hee)!! I am 5’2” and currently weigh 258 and purchased the 2xl. I think Im going to go ahead and order one the next size down as well. For when I do have something I want to wear nice out… I think the 2xl is true to size but i don't plan on keeping this weight on!!!

An Amazing and Different Faja
I was reluctant to buy a Faja that doesn't have adjustable hooks, but the price of this, on sale, was a fraction of other brands, so I decided to give this model a try. After having a Tummy Tuck and Lipo 4 months ago, and watching many many vlogs before and after, a few recommended the ShaperX brand. I have purchased about 10 fajas of different brands in the last months, and this is the 3rd model of ShaperX. ShaperX makes their Fajas differently than others. Usually, they are made from PowerNet, and can cost upwards of $200 for a post-surgical garment Colombian faja. Shaperx uses a type of Neoprene mix, which I am finding so much better. They feel much softer on the skin, but provide more support. The Neoprene gives it somewhat of a Suana Suit feel, so that I can really feel the inflammation go down each time I wear it. So with this model specifically, I loved it for a few reasons. Though I have other models that have hooks, in which case I can really adjust the faja to fit my more hourglass shape, which I love.. but with this model, I am constantly told how small/ slim I look. With the PowerNet Fajas, I usually have to wear something underneath, because they irritate the skin. That isn't a problem here, as this is that Neoprene I mentioned. this model provides amazing support, but is still comfortable in terms of fit. The material doesn't stretch so much, making it wonderful for holding the body together. . What made this product unique though, was the back. In addition to the tummy tuck, I have full back Lipo, to give the illusion of a BBL. this is the ONLY Faja I have found that provides proper support all the way down the lower part of the back. I wish I had this months ago! It would have helped with inflammation so much! I purchased the large and the medium, so that now that I am finally feeling the inflammation go down properly, I know I'll soon need a smaller size, and the price of Shaperx is normally amazing, but on sale, its a must have. It is a thong fit though, so your backside still hangs out below, to give it a nice effect and maximize the BBL illusion, not with tight silicone bands under the back side, like other models, but by shaping the back properly. Just beautiful I do wish the thong didn't ride up so much, but I learned to adjust the straps to pull the Faja down, so thats less of an issue. And honestly, It just might be my backside, deliberately shaped to flourish. Also, I had to adjust and pull so that my tummy incision was properly covered, as my incision of my TT was especially low- this likely won't be a problem for others, as this very low scar is because of my special case, and TT dont normally go as low as mine Honestly, ShaperX is the only Faja brand that I have been comfortably able to wear all day and not think about it. After wearing plus sizes all my life, and now being in the regular sizes, it's so nice to feel how small I can look with this shaper. I do love it.

Does what it’s supposed to do but the discomfort isn’t worth it.
I like that it does provide some support and “hold me in”. I dislike the fact that it is a bodysuit and the clips dig into the joint/side of my thighs. I couldn’t wear it all day and could probably only do 2 hours at most. It would be great if not a body suit.

Good fit but go one size down for compression
For reference I am 64kg, 1,65m tall. Waist circumference 75cm, hips 98cm. Following the provided size chart I should go Large but bought Medium as I am losing some weight after lipo. What I like: Good quality material, good compression, it shapes nicely and I really like this has a zipper to keep things smooth. For this price I am really impressed. What I don't like: The seam between the lace and bottom edge of the garment doesn't have much elasticity, you can fill it gets a bit tighter around the tights, it will mark tight fitting clothes. Apart from that it gives a nice body shape.
