Review: Yummy & Yes, It Works! - A friend of mine who loves to talk about Keto introduced me to this product. Although I myself cannot find the will to start a keto diet, I did like the idea of having some sort of supplement that would help me focus. After further reading about nootropics and possible benefits, I decided to give it a go. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect, and I am usually one to think things are often gimmicks. I usually have my morning dose (or 2) of coffee to get me up and started with the day. I run my own business, and I am pulled with projects (planning, logistics and design) and clients every day. I have, in the past, found that when I am feeling overwhelmed with work, I tend to bounce around one project to the next and sometimes have trouble keeping a straight line with my day's priorities. I am seriously self-diagnosing myself with a sort of attention deficit and need to have a compartmentalized plan for my work day when I am super busy, otherwise I think about getting the eff out of the country and joining a commune somewhere in Brazil. Unfortunately, abandoning a successful business, a great husband and a pretty badass child because you're having a few bad days is apparently frowned upon. Since starting to drink this with my morning coffee, I have found that I have a bit more pep and also seem to have more focus. I'm still waiting for some other magical observations like unicorn wings, but for now - I'll definitely take pep and focus as winners. As for the product itself, I LOVE the taste. It smelled so delicious when I opened the bag and I was slightly concerned that it would taste like nothing but coconuts (I can only take so much coconut before I want to bang my head on the wall), so I was pleasantly surprised that it only had tad bit more than a hint. Certainly doable for people who don't like the idea of consuming Hawaiian Tropics sunscreen. The creamer blended really well even without using a suggested mixer/frother, but I went ahead and bought a frother just to make it more swank. I blended it into a nutribullet with my coffee and then poured it into my cup for the first taste. YUM! It was creamy, not overpowering in taste, in fact, it enhanced it where I felt like I was having a macchiato (my favorite coffee) without the dairy or as oily as a bulletproof coffee. Then, I went about my day. It wasn’t until I was going to bed that night and recapping my day's activities that I realized “dang, I got a lot done today”........could it be, I thought??? Day 3 of my new coffee-making ritual and I absentmindedly clean off the spoonful of the powder into my mouth. WOW! It tastes so good. I secretly take a spoonful. Yum. It’s so light and tastes good. I’m not a sweet tooth person so this is just like a touch of coconut taste. Day 14 of my new coffee regiment and yes, my brain is more alert. I have a bit more fuel in my day and also seem to have boosted my focus and overall mental performance. I still ‘lick the delicious powder off my spoon’ when I add it to my coffee for a little taste of pre-coffee heaven. It’s that good! All in all - I one thousand percent recommend adding this to your morning routine if you want your brain to function at a higher level, and enjoy deliciousness in the morning.
