Hello! is the lactic acid in this used as a hydrator or as an exfoliant? was wondering if i could use this before tretinoin. thanks so much!

Thanks for the question Lactic Acid is in the product for moisture instead of exfoliation, and exact level will vary since we also use for pH adjustment of the final product and is below 0.5%
