If you're like me with metal working equipment, you probably have a few oil cans laying around for cutting jobs, and keeping your machines lubricated. I had been using the larger cans with rigid and flexible spouts, but I wanted something which was more compact, didn't take up as much room during use, and was ergonomic to use. This hit the nail on the head for each thing I was looking for. I actually bought two and have used both, and they're awesome. Zero complaints and I might buy a couple more for the shop. They don't hold a lot, but they have sufficient capacity for many days of jobs without needing to be refilled, but are no bulky or cumbersome to use while actually running a machine. I will use this for everything except the finest oiling when where a needle oiler is the best options. Good quality, good value, and it works well for my shop.

Simple, well-made, and very convenient oil can

Filled with sae 30 lubricating oil for the pivot points on my zero turn. Does not leak, can shoot a long stream if needed or add just a little. works perfectly.

Sturdy well built pump. I filled it with 30 weight non-detergent motor oil for general shop use. In short testing it feels solid, pumps a strong full stream of oil when fully stroked and can dribble oil out for lubricating a bicycle chain just as easily. The intake is right at the bottom of the pump mechanism so it can pull oil from less than 1/4" above the bottom of the can. Although it does not affect the operation of the oil pump, there is cosmetic damage on the top of the unit. It appears that either there was a problem during plating or the piece got to hot during assembly of the oil spout and blistered the chrome (see attached photo).

Simple, doesn’t leak, way better than the cheap plastic ones on here.

Just what you expect. It will sit next to the drill press for the next 10 years I imagine.
