This bar is so nice! It was easy to install, well made and solid, looks nice, and makes it so much easier to enter and exit the RV. I am so happy we got this, and really love the functionality of it!

The Camco Screen Door Cross Bar has been a game changer for my mom, who has mobility challenges. I added this bar along with new steps that have a built-in handle and a couple of extra hand holds, and the difference has been incredible. Getting in and out of our fifth wheel used to be stressful and awkward, now it’s smooth, secure, and much easier on both of us. The bar feels sturdy, installs quickly, and gives just the right amount of support when opening or closing the screen door. Love this cross bar! We had an original little 3” pull on one side of the screen door. The dark color (which blended with the door) was hard to see. The cross bar was easy to install, it goes the width of the screen door, silver in color which makes it easier to see on our dark color screen door. Love the ease of seeing the crossbar and for closing the door. I would recommend this crossbar for anyone who is looking for something with more convenience in closing your RV screen door. 😁

I installed this bar on my 2020 RPod 195 and it went on and functions as promised. I'm not the handiest guy around, but this was pretty straight forward. There are good youtube installation videos available which I followed, so that was very helpful, just to make sure I understood the instructions. Since my RV, and hence screen door, are fairly small, I did not have to extend the bar much at all to fit, which increases the sturdiness of the installed product. One piece of advice I have is to use a sharp, metal drill bit, instead of a dull general purpose bit like the one I used. It still worked ok, but a sharper bit means you don't have to use much pressure when drilling, which helps make sure you don't penetrate farther than you intend (ie reduce the risk you punch through too far into the screen!).

Like: nice aluminum push bar with black hanging plastic holders. If you are hand and can eyeball .. you shouldn't have to use the instructions. Dislike: The screws are terrible. If you get one hop out of the Philips head screw it will immediately round it off making it impossible to get it tightened down. Ive had this issue lately with imported screws and pins. We know where they are being made... Case closed. If you need a nice push bar to protect your screen door I still highly recommend this camco bar. It works and it's nice looking. :::BURB

Quality product that adds functionality to an RV door. The install on my 2024 GeoPro 19FD was easy. I didn't use the template but simply some painters tape to mark the correct positions to screw the end pieces on the metal tube. Used a metal drill bit to drill pilot holes before screwing the screws in. I had to install it all the way on the inside of the screen door frame. On the outside of the screen door frame interferes with the doorframe and your door won't close anymore. I also was a bit worried about sufficient clearance with my stairs folded on the inside. I mounted it a bit lower where there's more clearance with the folded up stairs. All worked out great.

Others are less money but also less quality. I would highly recommend the Camco RV Screen Door Crossbar. Not only will it save your screen from getting pushed out but it also makes the screen door less flimsy. Very easy to install. Comes with detailed instructions that are easy to follow. All new RVs should come with this product installed.
