Love it!
I LOVE this spatula, and actually got back on today to buy a second. It was half the price I bought it for the first time, so I bought 2 instead. To be clear, this spatula does not work well for the reason we bought it for initially. We bought it to use in cooking, flipping eggs etc. However, it's just too big (wide) and inflexible for cooking in our 10" or 12" cast iron pans. It's almost as long as the cooking surface of the pan. We do use it when we use the biggest cast iron pan, but mostly we use it as a grill spatula. So why buy another? This thing is a beast, super burly, and makes an EXCELLENT scraping tool. I stole it from the kitchen one day and used it to scrape shit off the floor, and realized it's true worth ๐ the handle makes it easy to hold while using it as a scraper. The beveled edge is sharp, and the metal is really strong. I have put this badboy thru some really heavy duty chores, and have found it to be an indispensable tool on the farm.

Big spatula!
Sturdy and well made but it is BIG! Almost too big, but itโs great for smash burgers

The perfect egg flipper
Perfect for fried eggs in small pan.

Loose handle, but good overall.
Handle is a bit loose, as wood to metal contact is not tight, and the aluminum rivets don't pull the scales tightly to the metal "blade." (Actually, I don't believe they are rivets....they look more like aluminum pins.) Not a problem for me, as based on the reviews, I kind of expected that - and had planned to strip and refinish the handle with BLO anyway. I'll clamp and epoxy it first to tighten it up, and probably round the sharp squared corners as well while I'm at it. Well-built, heavy 420 stainless steel blade, and overall, a good value at about half the price of the Dexter-Russell S240 mini-turner. Could be used to smash a "smallish" burger patty if desired. Actual size is 9 inches long from end of handle to tip of metal blade. The "metal" business end is 2 3/8" wide by 3" inches deep (from end to the "bend") ....so it is more rectangular than square and is slightly less than 2.5" wide. The wood handle is 4.5"L as pictured in the description. I assume this was made in China as it is unmarked and unbranded other than the paper packaging. Should last a long time once I've made my modifications as a multi-purpose small metal spatula. IMHO, the Dexter-Russell S240 (or also the S248) is better proportioned and more attractive, The Dexter is made in the US, has brass rivets in the handle, and is probably better suited for brownies, cakes, cookies etc... as it is a bit smaller. However, at almost twice the price of this Homi Styles spatula, it's up to you as to whether the higher cost of the Dexter is worth it to you.

Lovely little spatchy spatch
Great, heavy, smaller spatula for cookies, brownies, and other baked goods I need to lift off the tray without pulling the edges up, or worrying about crumbling apart. I've also dipped this is hot water to get sticky dough off the countertop, and the faceted edges worked brilliantly for that. The wood handle is lovely, and adds a pleasant esthetic. I don't dishwash it, just hand wash after each use. The edges are VERY sharp, like, watch your fingers and toes, it could be dangerous if dropped!

Just the right size for making tortillas
I love to make corn tortillas. After I press the dough, each tortilla comes out pretty close to the diameter of this spatula. I use it on a carbon steel griddle, for which a metal spatula is not a problem. It looks good & feels sturdy. Though it says it's dishwasher safe, I just hand-wash it. Tortillas don't make a spatula terribly dirty & I am hesitant to put something with a wooden handle in the dishwasher. I am happy with this purchase.

The Right Size!
This spatula is the perfect size when baking cookies! I have used one similar to this item for over 30 years, but of course wear and tear has prompted me to purchase a new one. May the only downside to the size is if you are baking very large size cookies, the I would suggest something a bit wider to accommodate the cookie when removing it from the baking sheet. Otherwise regular sized cookies are perfect when using this spatula. I like the wooden handle as well as it gives the feeling of stability and endurance.

It is large and useful. Had a rust spot after 1 use
A huge pity that it had a rust spot after 1 use. Well made and sturdy otherwise. Use it for all sorts of things in the kitchen such as lifting omelettes...
