Finder Deluxe Edition: Target in Sight, Vol. 1 (Yaoi Manga)

I absolutely love this series and Yamane Ayano’s art work. Asami and Akihito’s relationship style is my most sought after when I’m looking for something to read. I love a dominant/submissive relationship where the submissive partner still has a strong personality. So much love 😍😍😍

For the curious that want to know, the adult scenes are censored, it shows light-sabers only :) I had to mention it since I wasn’t seeing it in the comments. Also, there were quite a few extras that didn’t fit with the story, it took most of the middle of the book, went back to main story and then there was 1 extra story at the end of the main characters, not sure if the normal edition has it like this but just FYI. I’ve been with the Finder series for a long time and I’m just interested in Asami and Akihito so I don’t think I’ll go with the deluxe editions, unsure, it had a nice mini poster (not to be seen by non fujoshi people :)) so I’ll be debating with myself ha

So I am eagerly awaiting the day I can purchase volume 10 and reading the first nine volumes again. This never gets old. I really wish they would do a proper animation for this series. Finder is so well written and the characters end up holding a special place in your heart and memories for life. I like the thought of Takiba being with both Asami and Fei Long. I've read a bit of volume on one of those sites but because I really want to support the manganka and the industry I stopped to wait on either the hardcover or the digital book to hit the U.S. market. Come on Bezos! Work it out already.

My favorite manga to date! Love the artistry and plot. While it may seem dry at first, I can assure you that you are in for a ride with this. Remember, it is a yaoi so if that's not your thing, please be aware. ♡

I started Finder many years ago when it first was issued. I hadn’t yet read the latest 3 volumes, so I decided to re-read from the beginning. Akihito is a news photographer who comes into the cross hairs of Asami, a powerful Yakuza boss, while perusing a story. Asami kidnaps him and “teaches him a lesson” on investigating the wrong people. Akihito ends up in danger again after trusting the wrong cop and is shocked when Asami saves him. I had forgotten that the first volume only has about one third devoted to Finder, the rest is composed of three short tales: 1) Love Lesson, a brief story of a high school student involved with his class president, 2) Plants in Love, another brief about two students who discover their single fathers are romantically involved and they find themselves attracted to each other also and 3) Risky Society, a longer story about secret agents on a mission who end up in bed together after one is injured on a mission. This new deluxe edition closes with two more Finder tales. The first is a quick interlude when Asami shows up at Akihito’s place to “get out of the rain” and seduce him, of course! The second is a bonus for this deluxe edition. It’s a non-continuity story of Akihito working at a spa, to pay for his stay after his wallet was stolen. And Asami and Fei Long both just happen to come stay and take advantage of the new staff member. What hooked me on Finder was how different it was from so much high school yaoi. The main characters are all adults, the story is gritty and sometimes brutal. And the sex is explicit. Readers should be warned there is rape in the story, as befitting a story about Yakuza, Triad, drug dealers and smuggling. So, it's not for everyone. I’ve owned both the Be Beautiful editions and the June editions of Finder. These SuBlime deluxe editions are by far the best. I had no idea how poor the prior translations were until I read this edition. The dialog and plot are now completely coherent, and the story flows smoothly. Additionally, SuBlime includes a beautiful full color, double sided fold out and the bonus stories at the end of each volume. The Mangaka also has an afterward, explaining how Finder was originally supposed to be an S&M collection. Overall, this is my favorite Yaoi series and I am so glad to have these new, vastly improved editions.

I wanted this manga for myself becuz the characters are so sauce and strong! Asami is cold when teaching a serious lessen about putting your nose in his business but then he began to enjoy and care for the extruder and finally labeled him as his and his alone!! A boss can do that and no one should ever question his decree if they want to live!! I'm pissed that I couldn't find volume 2. I want EVERY darn part of Asami with no questions asked or I'll be totally disappointed!!

I came for the sex but stayed for the story. This is a great BL manga.

Love this series. Just finished this volume and this BL series is my guilty pleasure. Good read and I can't wait to dig into volume two.

If you like dark and tense romances. This is the story for you. One of my most favourite manga's out there this story has everything a hardcore yoai shipper could need.

Tralasciando l'oav che ne è stato tratto con esito incerto vista la tecnica usata, il fumetto è invece una tappa obbligata per gli appassionati del genere. Farete la conoscenza di un misterioso uomo d'affari giapponese, Asami, e di un fotoreporter giovane, bello e un po' scavezzacollo : Akihito. Ben disegnato dalla bravissima Ayano Yamane questo è il primo di sette volumi già pubblicati (la storia è tuttora in corso)

The pages are clean and clear and i was quite surprised to see that there was more stories than i had thought it was a pleasant surprise. Overall the manga was excellent.

Ahora entiendo la diferencia entre una edición de lux y una normal :) Tiene varias paginas extra y un poster, estoy muy contenta con mi compra :D
