What I really like about these is they do not use the BMW style bulb connectors which get "burnt" and damaged. (In my opinion, BMW should have a safety recall on their taillights). These use traditional bulb sockets with permanent wires in them which are still easy to change the bulb, and will probably last a lifetime.Here's why I only gave four stars: BMW outer lenses are usually what fails, however these don't quite match the inner ones, so you will want to install the inner ones as well to match, and that is the more significant part of the labor. There's nearly 20 screws and 2-3 trim plates to get the inner taillights swapped.Once they are all on, you'll be very happy and have taillights with full brightness, and no more error messages due to the BMW burnt connector lights! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good look but slight defect for inner tail lights makes me say I wouldn't buy again *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2015* Awesome look and cleared my check brake light error code which was the reason I decided to go after market. The reason I go with three stars is the inner tail lights do not fit perfectly it is slightly tilted. While most people would never notice if I point it out you will see so I attached a picture. The left inner taillight is the product I'm reviewing the right inner twilight is a different manufacture (unsure who) that fits perfectly .. You can see how the left is slightly tilted.
